Officially becoming an assassin.

The car ride back to Barbara's house was almost silent with the both of them hardy talking.

It seems that long silences were common between the two of them as neither of them were big talkers.

Barbara was more of a nerdy and elegant bookworm.

While Drystan could be considered social, and would be willing to talk for ages if he had to, he still prefered silence most of the time as he found it relaxing.

They decided not to continue with their plans for the day considering what happened and that they would spend some time before their classes to outline future plans.

"Why did you headbutt the robber, he could have shot you?." Drystan could tell that she wasn't really asking for an answer and just expressing her worry but he still explained.

"Batman was there. I knew that as long as the robber wasn't right on top of me Batman could handle it, so I created an opportunity for him."

Forget about Batman, your average policeman could have taken out the robber with such an opening. Not that he would trust a policeman to do it.

"You sure put a lot of trust in Batman."

"He is Gotham's very own hero. Even though he is a little questionable sometimes who am I supposed to trust with my life in Gotham if not Batman. " he replied.

He didn't go out of his way to praise heroes all the time but if someone asks his opinion on heroes then he decided that, unless they did something bad, he would only say good things about them incase they find out what he's been saying.

He dropped Barbara off at her house and heading home, but not before giving the bird to her roommate, not forgetting her being rude to him this morning.

He wasn't really mad but he was still human, but he couldn't figure out why he felt that he needed to give her the middle finger... emotions are weird sometimes.

After arriving back home Drystan took the opportunity to relax and get his mind in order as he still had a few hours before he had his first mission.

5 hours later Drystan could be seen dressed in full Death Gun attire. He originally wanted to design his own get-up but Death Gun was one of his favorite anime characters in his past life and he couldn't think of a better costume design.

He even added the smoke effect and red eyes so that if he didn't instantly kill his targets they might get to see how badass he looks before they die.

It was currently 10:30 and he was going looking over the targets details one last time.

Rob Foreman was a relatively easy mission. In fact it was only considered a two star because of the potential of his gang looking for revenge.

That was unlikely however because Rob isn't a higher up in his gang and even if they looked for revenge, unless the assassin left them a literal trail, it's unlikely they would find out who did it.

He left the house and stealthily made his way to the target location.

Tonight Rob and his friends were going to the club and Drystan was going to take advantage of the crowd to carry out his first mission.

The club is one that penguin owns so he had to be careful as its likely that there are police nearby as its a crime hotspot.

Drystan was sitting on the roof of the building opposite of the Iceberg Lounge waiting for Rob to make his appearance.

After awhile he saw Rob and his motley crew strut in the club doors like they owned the place.

Clearly they were regulars as nobody thought it was odd to see them cut in line and directly enter.

It's a privilege of being a part of one of the gangs Penguin controls.

He knows assassinating one of penguins men at his own club was slapping him in the face, but Drystan didn't care nor did he plan to get caught so he decided to do it here just to piss off the waddling twat.

Who knows, maybe if he's lucky maybe he will start a gang war between Penguin and Black Mask because of this.

Afterall the skull mask and red eyes sounds like a familiar description to anyone thats met Black Mask.

Anyway after watching Rob enter the club Drystan made his way onto the Iceberg Lounge and entered through a window he had made sure one of his clones left unlocked.

He said he wasn't going to use any superpowers but his clones don't have any superpowers, so do they really count?

After sneaking in he made sure to stay in the shadows and locate Rob on the inside.

He found Rob sitting at the bar dropping something into some poor girls drink.

After a couple minutes the girl started to act woozy and Rob took her into one of the clubs backrooms.

This was clearly routine here so he decided that in the future he would take a few more jobs here because these isolated backrooms really made things convenient.

Watching Rob strip the girl he pulled out a dagger and snuck up behind him appearing from the shadows the same way the league of assassin do.

But better.

He grabbed Rob around the neck with his left arm while positioning his knife under Ribs third rib with his right.

Rob barely made a sound as Drystan slid the knife between his ribs and pulled it back towards him.

He felt Rob struggle for a split second before the life drained from his eyes.

Then Drystan let go and Robs lifeless corpse hit the floor.

He stared at at the bleeding body and then at his now bloodied hands still holding the wet dripping red knife before suddenly feeling the urge to vomit.

He immediately used his 6th ability and teleported home in the bathroom ripping off his mask and vomiting into the toilet.

Although he was vomiting, he was relieved at how easy it was to complete his first kill and knew that future kills would come much easier as he would both be using his powers and would have a stronger mindset.

He new motto while going on a job was adopted from his favorite childhood movie.

From now on it was Strike first, Strike hard, and No Mercy.

And so history's most deadly assassin came into existence.
