❄❄❄

The radio crackled, "This is the latest advisory from the mayor's office. All citizens return to their homes immediately. Please be advised this is a storm warning...." Sembi grew bored and tuned into another station. Sasha threw a pillow at him, "Turn it back. We might find out whatever problems that might arise" He gave a look and everybody started to complain so he keep changing channels till he found it again.

We spend a few minutes later tagging the locations of murders on the map. This time we not only tagged our other properties we also tagged the properties of people who had insidious plans to attack us. The CB radio was on the first responders as well.

We sat down and had egg muffins for breakfast as firefighters responded to a bogus fire. We were playing Scrabble when the police called in for help because of a car crash and how an ambulance zoomed past them without stopping to help them. Diana was sitting next to Edge hoping to look through the Periscope again. We played charades when the police band called dispatch about a murder. We switched it off so Diana won't have nightmares. Her father was happy we did this. Phillip found where the location was and pinned it.

When it was bedtime I allowed her one more turn with the periscope before tucking her in bed. She was supercharged but finally she fell asleep. I got up to draw the designs of a new armor car. It would have the capability to withstand an attack from a tank. Reinforced chassis with James bond level gadgets.

I was drawing when I felt someone staring. It was Diana. She woke up and was observing me with delight. I put down my notes and carried her upstairs. I cleaned her up and came down to see Phillip was going through the map. He looked scared. I asked him if he was ok and he said this map reminded him of the day we met.

He walked up the grill and placed the coffee pot on the hot coals. He took a sip of his espresso he told me that he had lost all hope in humanity. Then I did the selfless act of saving a kid. I took a bullet from him so he remembered that God had created good people too. So when I asked him to work for me he agreed without question. Before he just watched people do atrocities now he can stop them. His sleep has improved greatly. Jasmine on the other hand looked like she was about to be admitted to the hospital. She was on her phone chatting with her friend who was in Milan. She looked like a wreck. She kept praying to God that this is the last storm season she sees. She wanted to enjoy the life's best had to offer.

GG was on the phone with her friend in a retirement community. Diana ran to talk to her and I sat down. I was going to ask about the progress of the scholarship. I turned to Phillip and was about to start to inquire when my stomach grumbled. I decided that food was a necessity. I made scrambled eggs and toast. We got up and played Scrabble. The radio hummed to life with the news that the storm has passed.

Finally the security gave us the go-ahead and darlings walked out to the backyard. I on the other hand used the elevator and went upstairs. The top floor was divided into two sections. One is living quarters the other is an open area with a garden and a large swing. I sat on the swing and watched the ensuing chaos. Diana wanted to have breakfast here so I asked her father to watch her till I get back. He nods his head with a smile.

Jasmine was on the balls of her feet. She was waiting for the all-clear so she can drive to one of the fashion magazines that Posh runs. She would take all calls stationed there. She would show up for to the office the next day wearing Armani and Prada
