Chapter 7

It's a day before the Celebrity Tour and we've just finished our second song.

"The second song is great Rina!" exclaimed Ariana.

Ariana came to help us record which we really needed since she was an experienced song writer and singer.

"Haha, thank you." I replied nervously.

"Though shouldn't you be getting ready for the Celebrity Tour?" asked Aphrodite.

"It's fine, I still have more time today anyways. The sun hasn't even set yet, so my schedule is free." replied Ariana.

Well, that was a relief since I thought she was skipping out in her stuff just to be with us.

"Rina, how's the first song we posted doing?" asked Aphrodite.

"I checked in the morning and it has about 1.2 billion views. It's still trending No.1 on Youtube." I replied.

"Let me guess, they've been asking for your face reveals?" asked Ariana.

"Yep, those were like 40% of the comments." said Aphrodite looking at the post.

"Though, should we even face reveal yet?" I asked.

"Hmm, probably not yet." said said Ariana.

"Then when should we?" asked Aphrodite.

"I have an idea!" said Ariana.

Over the past few days, we got closer to Ariana and it was the same for her. We learned that whatever idea she had, was not good. And here we are witnessing another crazy idea coming out of her.

"Why don't you perform both of your songs at the Celebrity Tour! I'm sure the hosts would definitely let you if I talk to them." said Ariana.

"That's actually a pretty good idea, let's do that." said Aphrodite.

"Eh? I don't have any say in this? Plus, what if the host doesn't let us?" I protested.

"The host will." replied Ariana.

"And how do you know?" I asked.

"Because the host is a close friend of mine." said the smirking celebrity.

I can never win against this person even if I'm a goddess.

The first song was a success but that doesn't bring my anxiety down about my second song. An angel telling me it's going to be fine, a devil telling me the song's going to be a failure.

There were many doubts but all of it disappeared when Aphrodite cupped my cheeks.

"It's going to be fine Rina, these songs were made by goddesses." said Aphrodite whispering the last part.

"I'm the goddess of love who doesn't even understand love." I said chuckling.

"You do, it's just that you haven't realized it." said Aphrodite walking back to Ariana.

Hmm? I already understand it but haven't realized it? What did that even mean?

Although I was worried about the songs, I couldn't help but also be happy.

Being on Earth doesn't seem that bad, though I don't understand how the other deities were able to live here peacefully their entire lives. Surely they had to keep traveling to hide their identity.

I wonder, will I be able to learn love if I stay here a little bit longer?

"There's a few things missing from the second song though." said Ariana.

"What is it?" asked Aphrodite.

Aphrodite was sure she didn't miss out on anything, she even double checked it too. So what could she had possibly missed?

"A song cover." replied Ariana.

Aphrodite mentally facepalmed.

"Is that really needed though, why can't we just do a random photo?" asked Aphrodite.

"Because a good cover photo can help making your song more popular." replied Ariana.

"So? What will the cover photo be?" asked Aphrodite.

Ariana smirked, this was her mission. To bring Rina and Aphrodite, they would look so cute together. But they both didn't realize they had feelings for each other.

"It will be you and Rina, your faces will be masked so don't worry about that." said Ariana.

"That's fine I guess, let me call Rina over." said Ariana.

Ariana and Aphrodite explained to Rina what they were going to do who protested but eventually gave in.

The cover photo consisted of Aphrodite's right arm around her waist and left hand on her chin. Rina's left arm held onto Aphrodite's waist with her right arm holding Aphrodite's right cheek.

While they were staring at the camera, Rina was internally having a yuri panic. She could feel Aphrodite's warm breath against her neck, she had to force herself to not drop down on her knees because of the feeling Aphrodite was giving her.

Currently Aphrodite was having a battle in her head, she was straight so why did she feel the urge to kiss Rina so badly? Why did Rina's pink hair, golden eyes, and Rina herself look so attractive at the moment.

After Ariana took the photo and started to edit it, they instantly parted ways and had the same thought.

'What just happened?'

It's been a few hours after the photoshoot, currently they were going to release the trailer of the second song.

"So we're not going to post the entire song but perform the entire song at the celebrity tour instead?" Rina asked.

"Yep, after the concert, you guys can release it. Make the fans more excited and eager to hear the song, you can do stuff like that to help increase your fan base." said Ariana.

"This seems a bit sketchy." said Aphrodite.

This was like having someone wait for their food delivery that wasn't coming, instead they get a picture of it instead. It seems kind of cruel.

"Well, it may seem that way, but it helps." replied Ariana.

An hour after they released it, it was already trending No.4 on Youtube.

「Rina and Aphrodite dating? 」

「 Release full song!」

「I'm getting excited for the full song, can't wait! 」

"See, I told you the album cover was working." said Ariana.

"What's working? Are-" Rina widened her eyes and realized Ariana's plan.

"You idiot! I don't like Aphrodite like that!" said Rina chasing Ariana around the house.

"Not yet~" said Ariana.

The night ended with Aphrodite scolding them about dropping an expensive vase.

Didn't Aphrodite have about 70 trillion dollars or something?
