Chapter 8

It was the day of the concert Aphrodite and I were going to attend.

We had to perform not one but two of our songs.

Being a goddess has special powers but we didn't have the ability to erase the nervousness.

Currently we were on our way to where the Celebrity Tour was being held, meeting other celebrities is quite nerve racking. Unlike what happened with Ariana where she bumped into me, I had to actually go up and meet them.

I was driving there with my new car which was the Koenigsegg AgeraRS, there was less than a dozen of them in the world. Since it was custom built and modified, it costed more than usual.

About 5 million but that's a light tap, after all we had nearly over a 100 trillion. I have no idea where Aphrodite gets all the money, I heard she uses her powers for that.

I started to speed up a little, making Aphrodite spill a little bit of water on her pants.

"What was that for?" asked Aphrodite.

"For fun." I replied as I went faster.

"Go slower, there's literally a turn in the next hundred meters." said Aphrodite.

That just made me go faster.

"WE'RE GOING A 100 MILES PER HOUR! I DON'T WANT TO DIE EVEN IF I'M A GODDESS." yelled Aphrodite.

VROOM! VROOM!

I went a little bit over 120 miles, slowing down just a tiny bit.

Right before the turn, I switched to the second gear, and initiated the oversteering.

Everything felt like it was in slow motion, I started laughing while Aphrodite was screaming trying her hardest not to spill the water.

Right when we're entering the end of the drift, I stepped on the acceleration.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US?" asked Aphrodite.

"Come on, it was fun." I said chuckling a bit.

My first time drifting my new car and it was in the middle of the streets of Los Angeles, how amazing it would be if Zeus was in the passenger seat.

I started to slow down since the Celebrity Tour was right around the corner.

Ariana called telling us where to park since there was literally no space at all. I parked exactly where Ariana told me to, I got out the car with Aphrodite and there were people staring at my car. Hehe, I know my baby is awesome.

Looking around, I spotted the short girl waving towards us.

As we walked towards her, there were people looking at me, can't help it, my pink hair brings attention.

"Yo Ariana!" I said greeting her.

"Hey Ariana!" said Aphrodite.

"Hey guys! Rina, when did you get a driver's license?" asked Ariana.

"I didn't." I replied.

"Then why can you drive?" asked Ariana.

"Because I'm special." I replied.

Ariana rolled her eyes and led us to where the other celebrities were.

I don't have a driver's license but when you're a goddess, something like this is easy.

We made our way inside, passing the security guards, they looked a bit too serious.

Making our way into a VIP section, there were the celebrities that was stated to be here.

Ariana told me everyone's names.

The blue haired pineapple head was xxxtentacion, the blue haired girl was billie eilish, the short guy was lil uzi vert, the person with dreads was Polo G, the other girl with amber hair was halsey.

I talked to a few of them, some were just a small talk but X was a cool dude to talk to. He speaks like he knows a lot, he probably does. I did some research on him and he spoke about the devil in a freestyle.

I'm going to need to get back to heaven and then deliver a message to Hades to check on this xxxtentacion guy.

There was about 30 minutes until the official concert starts so I decided to walk around.

The tour was held outdoors meaning there will be a ton of people and it was going to be quite crowded.

The stage was big enough to fit a dozen of my car so it was pretty wide.

I walked over to Aphrodite who was talking to Ariana about some things.

"What're you guys talking about?" I asked.

"We were seeing if the host was going to let us perform our songs." said Aphrodite.

"So? What did the host say?" I asked.

"We can but." said Ariana.

"But?" asked Aphrodite.

"They want an autograph." said Ariana.

"Seriously." I muttered.

Out of everything, they asked for an autograph. Well I guess it's not that bad.

"When are we supposed to give her the autograph?" I asked.

"I'll do it, you both can just sign." said Ariana handing me a pen and paper.

I quickly signed it and handed it to Aphrodite who did the same. Ariana started walking to a different direction which I assume was where the host was.

I was slowly starting to get nervous as I kept thinking about what the people would think.

Thinking about a lot of things, Aphrodite must've seen how anxious I was and enveloped me into a hug.

I began to calm down, all my worries disappeared when Aphrodite hugged me, I was sure I calmed down so why was my heart beating so fast?

Perhaps I like or love Aphrodite...?

I mean there was no way right? I didn't need love, Aphrodite was just a friend I've been with since the first time I became a goddess.

Questions filled my head, I wasn't worried about the concert anymore.

I was more worried about the love I had for Aphrodite, how ironic was that?

The goddess of love falls in love with the goddess of beauty, I would've never expected it.

I was so into my thoughts that I didn't hear Aphrodite calling my name.

"Rina!" said Aphrodite shaking me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You're spacing out, are you okay?" I asked.

No, I'm not okay. My heart is rapidly beating for you.

"Yes, I think I just got a bit anxious." I replied.

"I see, calm down and take care of yourself." said Aphrodite.

"Yes, yes." I replied.

Why do you make me feel like this Aphrodite?
