"Arghh" Adrian Carlo felt a slipping headache as a searing pain started in his head.

"I don't know what's happening to him. Let's take him to the hospital"

Xin Xiulin and Li Huan were just coming back from the North fest resort. "Xiu baby, how are you feeling now?"Li Huan asked her daughter who has been feeling sick ever since last night.

That's one of the reasons why they were leaving a day early from their trip so that she can go to the hospital. "I think I feel much better now Mom" Xin Xiulin looked at her mom and replied with a reassuring smile.

"Also, mom can you not go to work tomorrow we can both just stay at home and chill?"Xiulin asked eagerly.

"Ok, a deal I am on a leave tomorrow anyway. My time is all yours tomorrow okay? "Li Huan said, looking at her daughter in adoration. She can never get tired of seeing that beautiful smile on her daughter's face.

"Can we also visit Dad's grave tomorrow?"Xiulin asked.

A mysterious light appeared in Li Huan's eyes, which Xiulin failed to notice.

"Why so suddenly dear?" she asked.

"I don't know just felt like it," she replied.

"Ok then," she said.

Then Xiulin turned to look at the road when she saw a black truck speeding towards them.

"Mom!!!" she screamed as the truck hit the car and the car flipped over its side. The car kept rolling as Li Huan opened her seatbelt to hold her daughter and protect her.

Someone got out of the truck and came to check and they left. Li Huan opened her eyes to shake her daughter.

"Xiulin" she called out as she shakes her daughter's head.

"Wake up," she calls out softly as she can't get herself to scream. She felt all the power was draining out of her. Xiulin's eyes slowly fluttered open looking at her mother whose ears were bleeding.

"Xiulin.." she called out as she touched her as she slowly raised her hand to touch her forehead to see blood gushing out.

" This is important to listen to me! "Li Huan said again trying to stop the searing pain coming out of her head. Xiulin looked at her and nodded.

"He is waiting for you. Search for him! " She said, trying to keep her eyes open.

"Who? "Xin Xiulin asked.

Before Li Huan could reply, she jerked up and lost consciousness. Xin Xiulin felt her heart when she fell unconscious, she shakes her, but there was no response.

"Mom…Mom don't leave me alone, please...please. I'll listen to you" and Xiulin fell unconscious too.

She feels like she is in water, which is never-ending.

Everything felt so surreal, she tried to open her mouth and scream out loud, but it seemed like her mouth was not opening. It was painful the moment she opened her mouth.

It felt like a long time as she kept drowning in the water and she couldn't seem to move her hands.

Until she finally saw a ray of light, she felt there was a way out of this place.

Her racing heart starts to calm down when she starts to swim to the ray of light in hope.

She followed behind it until the light intensified. Every inch of her body ached yet she dragged herself towards the sight of light.

"N..No….I...mus..t...leave"

She wanted to escape from whatever this place was because she felt that she would be caged here forever if she gave up now.

After what seemed like a long time, she stopped there at the glaring light in the water. She was so blinded by the intensity that she had to cover her face with her hands. There was a flash and

"Bang" The girl lying on the hospital bed sat up in a flash, the syringe attached to her hand dragged the rest of the equipment down.

Her eyes widened as she panted, her long hair covered her face "I...I"

She stuttered," A..Alive" a whisper left her mouth.

Her throat was parched, it hurt with every single word she spoke, but she ignored everything, no pain mattered as long as she was not dead. She did not wanna die. There are a lot of things she wants to do. Moreover, she didn't want to part with her loved ones.

Amidst her thought she started to notice her surroundings which were all white which she can easily recognize as a hospital. An uncomfortable feeling rose in her. She always had a strong dislike of the hospital she wanted to get out of.

"Who..who are you?"Her gaze landed on the nurse standing in the corner who was looking at her in disbelief like she had seen a ghost.

The nurse was stunned as she looked at the girl in front of her. There was no difference between her and a dead person a moment ago, as she was surviving entirely because of the life support system. Her breathing was at a point of being negligible.

"I'll call your relatives immediately Miss Xin," she said excitedly running out.

Elena glanced helplessly at the door. Why did she run out without explaining the situation to her? Just who exactly saved her? Where is her brother? Since when exactly is she unconscious? She must thank her savior and wait..holy crap

"Who is Miss Xin?" her heart raced yet again as her eyes turned wide.

"Miss Xin?"Elena stopped her thoughts from running wild as she shook her head. "She must have confused me for someone else. Yeah, that must be it.

She removed the white bedsheet off her body while trying to stand up, but only to stagger back because she felt weak. She waited excitedly for her brother to walk in. She was scared that she was dead and that she would leave her brother all alone.

Her brother must have been worried sick about her. Now she can reassure him and make him keep his promise. She observed the room surroundings for a phone. How long has it since her accident? She also has to know who they were and why did they want to kill her. They also admitted they killed her parents.

This means her parent's death was no military encounter it was a freaking planned murder. She felt cold sweat run on her behind when she thought how her brother would have died too if he had come with her. As unlucky as she was, she would never wish the same faith for her brother. She didn't understand what was taking him so long.
