Accident

"What?"Yang Wei was stunned when she heard the news, "My Xiulin is awake?" she asked as if trying to check if her hearing is working properly.

It has been one month since her accident, her situation was worsening every second as every medical institution confirmed that she wouldn't make it.

"Yes, she is awake" The nurse replied much to her astonishment.

She took a few minutes to compose herself and informed the nurse she would be coming in to see Xiulin.

The nurse smiled to herself and felt the girl is lucky to be such a sweet aunt and then remembered she also has to inform their doctor. So rushed into the chief doctor's room to inform him that she was finally awake. The doctor was stupefied when heard this news because he checked right this morning only to not see any sort of development. He rushed to see his VIP patient who was now known as a medical miracle.

"Miss Xin, why did you try to get up? Are you okay? Doctor furrowed his brow as he looked at the girl who was looking at him with clear irritation. He didn't understand how he annoyed her.

Elena tries to calm herself down; she clearly didn't understand why they were so held up on calling her Miss. Xin because clearly, she isn't a Xin. And why is everyone Asian here? Where is she?

"Are you the one who treated me?" she asked the man wearing the white coat in front of her." Yes Miss Xin" he answered only to earn more anger from her." Where am I?" she asked him with some more calmness." Imperial Hospital?" he said proudly."Country?"

He wondered if she had lost her mind or something in the accident and became a retard.Yet he answered her question knowing her special background "China of course!" he said. The girl on the bed looked at him with a look of horror and her expression changed immediately making him wonder if it ever came at all." Madam Yang will be here in some time" he said. "Madam Yang? who's that?" she asked, flabbergasted.

Here she was with so many queries and madam yang popped up from nowhere.

The doctor and nurse looked at each other and then at the girl in horror. Was she even aware of what she was saying?

The doctor seriously didn't understand what's wrong with the girl and her weird questions.

Elena, who wasn't aware of the dilemma going on in the doctor's head, got impatient," Are you gonna explain what the situation is? And what's up with Miss Xin? Stop calling me that even if you don't know my real name...Cough.." she was agitated and it was painful, every part of her body seemed to be breaking apart, but she did not seem to care.

She thought they were assuming her for someone else. They must not have known her name because of her special identity.

But at this moment she felt anxious, lost, desolate, angry, and overall complicated

She still remembered her brother trying to make her believe everything was alright.

All the questions revolving in her mind made her glare at the doctor and nurse.

Who immediately shivered and got cold sweat on their behinds.

Wait.."Miss Xin, who is this Adrian you are speaking about?"The man asked.

"I'm the one who is supposed to be asking questions here, got it? she said looking at the man who kept nodding.

Her throat was parched. It hurt like hell with every word she spoke.

She looked around and slowly looked at her hands. There was a bandage on it nor a scar. She clearly remembered she was shot at her hand too but why didn't she have a scar there. This doctor must be a great one. She looked at him and smiled, "Doc thank you for taking good care of me. I see that you also removed the scar on my hand" she said. While the doctor and the nurse looked at her like she finally lost it because there was no scar on her hand when she came here from the accident. Her mother was the one who got all the physical impact because of her only she was alive today. But the doctor didn't know how to reply so he could only nod at her antics." It's my job, miss" he said not wanting her to get angry exert more energy on the argument.

Where is Madam Yang he thought himself as he cried but no tears came out? Elena slowly moved her hand to touch her shoulder to see if she was still in pain but to her astonishment there was nothing. It was a miracle indeed. She doesn't have a single scar. This doctor is a great one. She would give him a promotion. Maybe she came to China because they had a great doctor here. That must be it she thought herself. This Madam Yang must be my brother's subordinate in China thought Elena as she smiled brightly at the nurse and the doctor.

Making them stand there in a daze looking at her.

"I'm hungry. Can I eat solid foods?" she asked the doctor.

"No miss, you can eat them from tomorrow" he replied.

"Ok, who joined me here?" she asked.

"Miss I'm not aware. I think it must be a stranger" he replied as Elena furrowed her brows. Why would a stranger join her when her brother was there with her.

"Give me my reports," she asked as the doctor turned and passed her the reports.

She looked at the report to see that she was in a coma for 2 months but she didn't remember getting any head injury and there weren't any reported gunshots on her body which surprised her. She was shocked when she looked at the name of the reports it wasn't hers it was Xin Xiulin's and here she was thinking the doctor is nice, he is playing pranks with her." I'm not Xin Xiulin" she told them in Chinese.

As the doctor and nurse looked at each other and then her. She didn't feel comfortable with their gazes and she thought it was better for her to take a look at herself once.

" Get me a mirror?" she commanded the man who immediately asked the nurse to get one.

She felt somewhat weird waiting for her.

The nurse finally came in with a mirror.
