Chapter 11 Present

(Leland's Pov)

"I made a promised with my brother that I would kill him in the future if he turned evil." I look at the child and said. "Here we are, the present where no turning back now, just an old man, yearning for peace."

"I think sometimes, it's always been this way, I have looked into your memories when you are telling me your story." I knew it, this child is not normal. "So you have the ability to look into the memories of someone and when I said it with my mouth, it appeared in front of you and show all of it." The child said. "Not all of them, it's discontinued and I cannot dig any further." "I guess I could say to you, that's privacy invasion to be exact." The child said. "Indeed, cause, after all, I can also look at your siblings' memories, without any warning whatsoever."

This child can really see our perspective, even if it's far away. I guess they also put fake ones on my siblings and the real one is here with me. I could tell that they are real because they have the aura I could see, but for fake, there's none.

I can't really believe they done that in front of siblings, even if they are not here. My young brother Fronar, is no longer here. meaning I already killed him, so there's no need for them to look further since he's dead.

"I could tell your younger brother died, meaning you killed them." What a shock, I smiled impressively. Their way of thinking is making me curious about them.

"I am really honored, to be able to see such an incredible person in front of me." I bow down in front of them to show my respect for this "thing."

This child has my respect. Even if they have no side, that doesn't change the fact that they are here to watch us. Since that's how the world is. Being watched by the gods and see what we go. But this one is different, they are neither of those. I wonder what they really are now.

"Shall we head back to the village now?" The child asked me this question and they are very much likely bored and want to go.

"Of course," I said with a warm tone. After we chatted a villager ran and came to me and said in a tired voice. "Huff... puff... hey..." "Slow down young man, deep slowly." The young villager exhales with me to say something and why he rushed towards me. "I have something to tell you, and I good news and bad news." said in a calm voice. "What's the bad news?" I said in a serious tone and he said. "The knights came to us and started an invasion of our village.

"What!" I said in a shocking tone and resentment towards those so-called knights and their awful view against the commoners and the so-called nobles too are same, I calm myself in this and said.

"And what's the good news?" The tired villager said. "We have you and us." Said the villager in a hopeful way to win this. "Are you sure, all of you are ready for this?" The tired villager said. "Of course, we never forget your teachings, and we will repay your teachings and teach them that they are not the kings and queens of this land." I can see the determination in his eyes and said in a victorious tone.  

"In the end, they're just cowards hiding among the bushes and shield themselves from harm, even if betraying their own." Said in a disgusting way that they are the worst kind of people to do such things.

"Take me, to your village and I'll tell everyone about that." "Yes!" The tired villager said in a happy tone and left off.

"Now then, do you have the will to interfere in this or do you want to leave?" I said it to them so that they might have a choice in their life for a while now.

"I'm basically neutral, on this point." Said in an uninterested tone. "If your that strong or something else, why did you came here and stayed in the first place?" Said in a curious tone. "Because... I want to know what it feels to be in a battle or something called "hope," tell me, do you have any  idea what I am going to witness?"

"You will see blood and body being slashed to pieces and slice through our enemies' throats," I said in a regretful tone.

"What if I came to the king's castle and have answers?" "What!?" Why did they say that?

"Then, I won't stop you, if you find out about the king's perspective, then I need that information for our group and defend against this," I said decisively.

"I hope you still on the right side of this, decide and I accept what you are doing to find out about yourself." The child thinks and said. "I... will go to the castle if that's ok with you right?" I said. "Yes." In an immediate answer.

"Very well then, farewell." As they fly away in the sky and as I go on my separated ways.

(Anti's Pov)

It's been 2 hours ago since I left the old man, I just fly off and no going back at all, not going back in a too late way but, I just felt pity for him.

I soared and looked through the skies as I see the clouds having different shapes and birds are flapping their wings, a beautiful day to see this life.

After a peaceful time of my own, I went down and saw a man wounded as he can no longer fight, the man standing there is strong and not fallen, he has white hair and his eyes are like red.

That appearance, I heard this description from the old man-hour ago, that's Fronar.

He doesn't look old and he's basically young, how can he remain so young?

I turned myself invisible and try to learn what their motives are. The innocent child trying to run away from this man, and he's not the one that Leland describes him.

Maybe he changed, The boy speaks and said. "G... g... get... away from me!" The boy trembling in fear and shouted. "O... or... y-your... gonna regret it!" Atlin laughed insanely, how did the eldest brother of them turn into this serial killer.

"Hahaha!" Atlin said in a sadistic smile. "You thought you run away, just by doing a hide and seek for me?" Atlin laughed again. "As you may know, I'm a good seeker and I did that a long time ago with my brothers and sisters." Atlin then threaten the boy and said.

"Don't screw with me you little brat, you may have done a massive genocide on your sweet happy town whatever you call that place, I'm just here to do the job and that's that." He turned and said. "But since you already know, that I could sense your presence right now."

I revealed myself and said. "So... you noticed it from the beginning right?" "Clever as you thought." He complimented me right there. "But since your here, your not with this kid right?"

"No." Gave a straight answer. "Good, do you think I did that for no reason at all?" He said it is a touch of sarcasm.

"I do not believe this boy is innocent at all. I noticed something is wrong with him. "Oh, so you do notice it." He said in an impressive tone and surprised. "That boy is a manipulator." The boy was shocked and froze. "Go on." He's interested in me.

"I noticed that the way, he did right there was fake crying and he would have been rescued by those adventurers and thought of you as a mass murderer, the main suspect of this scene."

"I noticed that the way, he made his emotion feel that way is by using the magic of water and fake cry in front of their face." The boy was shocked again and he's getting irritated.

"The main point here is that you chasing the boy, is not you but him." The boy said in an angry voice. "Dammit! I almost got away until you showed up!" He revealed his true colors.

The girl has seen the boy and said. "Is it true Gibolt?" The boy noticed and was shocked, he said to her. "W-what are you talking about!?" The boy said in a shocked and scared face. "You murdered them, why?" The girl cried and she said to him. "Why... why... did you do that?"

The boy said in a smile and it's not normal. "I did it because I love you... I love you because every day, you always greet everyone with a smile and you also did that to me. You didn't even think once and all men are in the way of our love."

The boy is psychotic and Atlin said in a disgusted tone. "You psychopath, I knew the first I went to this town, something isn't right, you were the caused of all the manipulation and did all of that just for one girl." The girl was shocked and shouted. "How could you!?"

"Come on, sweetheart I wanted you to love me, love me, and accept me for what I am." The girl was angry and said. "That's not how love works!" The boy's eyes are an incomplete obsession for this perfect and beautiful girl, I don't know why everyone is obsessed with beauty.

The girl said in an empty tone. "Gibolt..." The boy said in a happy tone. "Yes!"

"I don't think I love you the way you're doing." The boy was heartbroken and said. "Eh?"

"I realized that sooner, I should've noticed that you loved me, you should've said that in front of me." The girl continues. "I need some time to think and I hope we never see each other, also get help your sick in the head."

The girl walked away. The boy is having a mental breakdown. "No! Please! Come back!" The boy spoke to himself. "It's not real right?" The boy continues. "I'm just dreaming, yes I am dreaming!" The boy has gone nuts. "Everything will be alright, everyone is fine and she still loves me." And then he laughed. "Hahahahahaha!"

Atlin said. "Hmph, disappointing." Said in a boring tone. "So, guess that's huh?" Atlin brings the boy and the boy didn't notice since he's out of the world.

"Welp, I'll put in jail for a price now," Atlin said something in front of me. "Hey kid, after I finished this follow me and we'll introduce ourselves in the safest place no one hears us after I throw this psychopath where he belongs," I said. "Yes." "Good." 

This boy is attractive but psychotic and manipulative anything for the girl, the girl meanwhile is somewhat attractive and something I cannot read her thoughts about. Even Atlin noticed it, she's good at this and she's likely going to cause a ruckus soon.
