Haru sat on his couch watching tv as his mom made dinner for him. They lived in a apartment where the city was litter with crime so he mostly spent his time indoors.

There was a park that was safe and most kids visited it but Haru never wanted to go.

"Haru you need to go outside sometimes. You can't just be inside all day and plus you're young you should be having fun outside with all the other kids."

Haru hated when his mom told him to go outside so he quickly got irritated.

"Momm I just don't want to go outside I like it in here."

"That shouldn't be an excuse for you being stuck in here all day."

She quickly took the tv remote forcing him to go outside or else he wouldn't get it back.

"MOM!"

"You should be going outside you can rot in here all day!"

"THIS IS WHY I HATE YOU!"

And with that he ran outside leaving his mom. He roamed the street looking at all the trash in the streets and looking at all the other kids have fun.

A suddenly realised that what he had said was wrong and couldn't imagine what his mom was thinking. He looked through the window to see her crying in her room as her hands ran through her face.

A feeling where you know you messed up ran through his body and all he felt was guilt. All his mother ever wanted was for him to be happy and not sit in the house all day. He thought about what he was going to say until he finally realised how to apologise.

He ran through the the street and quickly grabbed a bag of flowers and he quickly ran away. He had never stolen anything but he alway saw it on the movies and noticed how easy it was.

He quickly took the price tag off and ran back home. While running back he saw a white light flash in the alley way of a street. A wave of air followed and he was pushed back blocks away.

He looked down at his knees to see blood dripping down as his whole legs seems to be skinned off. His left arm sat in a odd position as it looked broken. He cried in pain as the white light expanded and he saw his mother run out into the street calling his name. He tried his best to run to her but his legs were bleeding a lot.

He fell onto the ground and with nothing but his will alive as he crawled on the floor.

His mother finally noticed him and started running towards him. She smiled in happiness as she finally found him but heavily wounded. Haru smiled but quickly saw the expanding white light. His mother didn't notice it and with that the light caught up to her as both of their lives ended...
