Chapter 46: Passing

"So, Im gay..." I finished my sentence and was faced with silence from mother and father.

In silence, mother sighed and gave father 50 Shanz and father took it with a happy face.

"WAIT!... YOU KNEW? HOW!" I was more bewildered by the fact that dad would know over the fact that they made a bet behind me.

"Of course i knew, I'm your dad after all. Your mother just can't believe it and had to pull me into a bet for it." said the king in a proud tone.

"Does this mean you're not fine with that mother?" I spilled my worries

Averting her gaze from the ground and into my eyes she spoke in a gentle tone. "for the past month i had been thinking about it. I'm against it, i really do, but this is your life so you should be the one to have the right to make your choices about it. Therefore, no matter whatever you do, you'll always have my blessing."

"Thank you mother, I will never let you down"

Mother passed away 5 years later not in the warm embrace of the family but turned into an undead under the influence of father's power throughout the forest. The Elves tasked to capture her returned in failure. Father ordered a restriction on my movement until she was captured. In the end, Father had to do it himself and finally captured her in 14 days.

A funeral was held for her by the both of us and she was then buried behind her house...

Afterward, I've always returned to the house every month to clean it and before I realized it, 150 years had passed and that's when I met her.

*Knock knock* "Is anyone in there?" An unwanted guest knocks the door with a femine voice.

'Nobody should be able to find their way here. Who could it be' I pulled out my Uchine and composed myself.

"No one is welcomed here! Scram!" I yelled to get my voice through the thick door.

"Not expecting anyone friendly living behind this door I guess. Well anyway, we were just going to ask if you had felt any tremors from this area? A dragon flew into north east of the forest. "

'Thats in the direction of the city is at' I thought

"No reply huh? guess I'll just leave then" the stranger said to herself

"WAIT!" I opened the door with might "IS WHAT YOU SAID TRUE?"

At there it stood my one true love for the rest of my life...
