A few days later, while Chin was studying, she heard a knock at the door so she went to check who was at the door. She looks in the peephole when she opened the door, she hugs him in excitement as he hugs her back, giggling a bit. He said "Hi, Chin, long time no see," in a cheerful tone as they let go of each other.

Chin looks at him as she added "It's been like 4 months since I've seen you," in a joyful voice, then she asks "Who is behind you," in a curious tone as she looks behind him.

He looks at the guy behind her then back at her, hesitated "This is my boyfriend," in a nervous tone as his cheeks turn a bit red.

Chin just replies "Let's talk inside," with a serious voice as she went back into the house. They follow her as she heard the other guy whispers "I don't think your sister likes me, I told you I shouldn't have come," in a straightforward tone but her brother told him to be quiet.

When they sat on the couch as Chin noted "I'll go get mom," in a quiet tone with a cold look on her face as she when to their mom's room. When she came back with their mom, she asks "How is my sweet boy," in a calm tone with a warm smile.

He hugs her, kneeling, as he answers "Mom, I've been well, what about you and Chin," in a joyful tone.

She replies "I've been well too, I don't know about your sister," as she pats his hair, then they look at Chin.

Chin mumbles "I'm okay."

Their mom asks "Who did you bring with you," in a curious voice as she looks at the guest.

Chin's brother looks behind him as he sat on the couch, he stuttered "This is my boyfriend," in a nervous tone.

She noted "So what's your name, where do you work, and how much do you make per month," in a serious voice.

He answers "Hello, my name is Min Zhe, I work as a mechanical engineer at a company called Dawn Mechanical and I make $5,405 per month," in a calm tone as he slightly bows.

Chin asks "How long have you two been together and how did you guys meet," in a cold tone.

Zhe replies "We have been dating for almost 5 years and we met in college."

Lai said "Mom and Chin, I hope you guys accept me for being gay," in a nervous voice as he starts to fidget with his fingers, tears filling his eyes.

As Lai was looking at Chin and their mom, the mom commented "Of course I accept you for being gay, being gay is just another form of love. As long as you're happy, I'm happy," in a sweet tone as she held his hands. Lai begins to cry in relief as his mom stood up at hugged him.

Chin interrupted "Well I can't accept you being gay," in a cold tone as she stood in front of them.

They all look at her as Lai asks "Why," in a confused tone as he stops crying for a second.

"Lai, I just can't accept it," as she slowly walks away, then Lai cries more. Then she turns and jumps on him, she said "I'm just kidding, I know you're gay since I was 8 years old," in a cheerful tone with a smile.

Lai's shocked face turns into a warm one as he hugs her and asks "How did you know I was gay when you were just 8, huh," in a curious tone.

She giggles and answers "When I saw you checking out cute guys at the store," in a calm tone as they all were shocked.

Zhe commented "Hmm, cute guys? Interesting," in an amused tone with a devilish look but Lai just lightly hit him causing everyone to giggle.

After an hour, Zhe and Lai wave goodbye to Chin and her mom, Lai hugs them both as he said "I'll be back when I'm free," in a calm voice.

Their mom commented "Ok, be safe," in a soft tone as they broke the hug, he nodded.

Chin added "Brother, if your boyfriend is ever mean to you, call me and I'll find a way to beat his butt," in a sarcastic voice, he smiles and nodded. She continues "But come back to visit us soon," in a calm tone, he nods with a gentle smile, then they left. Chin asks "Mom, what are you making for dinner," in a curious tone as they walk back to the couch.

Her mom answers "Um, I'm not in the mood to cook so we'll just order something to eat, what do you want," in a calm tone as she was rubbing her forehead.

"Um, let's have pizza," in a calm tone, her mom nodded as she took out her phone to order a pizza, after a few minutes the pizza came, she noted "Thanks mom for the pizza," then started to eat. Chin went back to studying after 2 hours, she puts her school things back in her backpack. Chin starts watching a C-pop dance practice, after a few times, she begins to stretch, put the dance practice on loop, and started to dance. Chin stopped after she danced 5 times, she went to take a shower, then rewatched the dance a few more times before she went to bed.

Around 6 am, Chin woke up, the first thing she did was check her phone, she got a few messages from her friends from last night, Mei Zhen texted "Did you guys practice cause we need to film early if we're going to upload by the end of the day,"

Jia Li replies "Yep, I just need to practice a bit in the morning so I can get the hang of the dance but I don't have an outfit."

Chin quickly answers "I practice a few times last night, I think was we should recap before we record. I can bring an outfit for Jia Li, where should we record for this week?" She was sure that they weren't awake yet so she started her morning routine, then started to make breakfast for her mom and her. When she was done, she went to get her mom, when they sat down as her mom said "What did you make for breakfast, it looks good," in a cheerful tone as her eyes sparkled.

"Thanks, mom, but it's not the best," in a calm tone as they start to eat.

Her mom's face was surprised, Chin asks "What?! Is it bad, if it is don't eat it," in a worried tone.

Her mom giggled and said "Don't worry, it's really good. Have you been practicing," in a reassuring tone.

She shook her head and answered "Kinda, thanks, I tried my best but let's stop talking before the food gets cold," in a calm tone, her mom nodded. After they ate, Chin noted "Mom, I'll be with my friends for a few hours, I'm leaving in an hour," in a calm tone as she begins to wash the dishes.

Her mom replies "Ok, do you need money," in a calm tone.

She answers "Um, can you give me like $15 or $20," in a curious tone, her mom nodded. As she was getting ready, she could hear her mom shout "I'm off to work now, I left the money on the counter, I hope you have a fun day," then the door shut. While she was choosing her outfit and Jai Li's, she got a text from Jia Li, "Thank you, Chin, let go to Xujiahui Park, around this time is not too busy so we can film without not many people bothering us."

Mei Zhen and Chin replied, "Ok, see you guys there." Chin choose both outfits, she's was in black, high waist, casual, bandage hole hollow shorts and the other side of her button is a black, asymmetric, pleated mini skirt with a black crop top. She put a bit of makeup on before she left.

Chin ran to Mei Zhen as she asks "Is Jai Li not here yet or did she go somewhere," in a curious tone.

She answered "She not here yet- oh there she is," in a calm tone as she looks to the right.

Jai Li ran to them and said "Sorry if I kept you guys wait," in an apologetic tone.

"It's fine, let's get going before there are more people in the park," Chin commented, they nodded then they went into the park but they heard someone shout "You guys, wait for me!"

They all were so happy when they saw who it was, they shouted "Da-Chung!!" as they hug her. Chin asks "What are you doing here? How did you get here," in a curious tone as they let her go.

Da-Chung answers "My dad is having me stay with my grandparents for today and tomorrow while they have some time to themselves," in a cheerful voice.

Mei Zhen said "Yay! Come on, are you going to join us in the video, or did you already film your own for us to add to the video?"

She answered "I'll join you guys, let's get going," in an excited tone as they start to walk off. Thet got to a wide space, Mei Zhen begins to set up the camera as Da-Chung said "You guys have an extra outfit for me to change into," in a calm tone.

Chin answered "Good thing I brought a second outfit, here, you and Jia Li fit a place to change," as she gave them a bag then they left. While the other two were gone, Mei Zhen and Chin were practicing, people started to gather around to see what they were doing, luckily no one who they are since their faces is covered. Once Da-Chung and Jai Li were back, they practice a few times before they start to film.

When they were done filming, the audience clapped their hands as Chin and her friend thanked them, then Mei Zhen got the camera as people begin to walk away. After they watched the clips, Da-Chung said "We did a great job, now we only need to edit it," in a joyful tone as they took off their masks.

"Come on, let's go to a cafe to edit it since I brought my laptop," Da-chang noted as Mei Zhen puts her camera and camera stand in their cases. When they were all packed up, they walk out of the park as Chin asks "Which cafe are we going to," in a curious tone.

Jia Li suggests "Let's go to Tree Cafe," in a calm tone as they agreed, then they walk to the cafe.

After walking for about 20 minutes, they sat down after they order their drinks, Mei Zhen gave Da-Chung her camera so she can edit it. While Da-Chung was editing the video, Jia Li asks "Do you guys have any plans for the weekend," in a curious tone.

Chin answered, "I think I might just be studying for the weekend."

"I think I'm just going to study too in case you guys invite me to go somewhere," Mei Zhen replied.

Da-Chung commented "I might just hang out with my grandparents, study more, or spend time with you guys before I have to go back," without looking away from the laptop.

"I'm probably going do the same thing as Mei Zhen," Jia Li said as she rests her head on her hand, then their drinks came.

Jia Li asks "Oh, by the way, Chin, how is your mom," in a curious tone after a few slips of her drink.

She answered "My mom seems kinda different from before," in a confused tone.

"How?" asked Mei Zhen.

"She's more tired easily, doesn't eat much, have been nausea a lot lately, her cooking is really salty like she can't taste anything, and a few days ago I saw her throwing up, it was red like blood but she said she ate a few red popsicles," Chin noted.

Jia Li said, "It could food poisoning, Acid reflux, stomach ulcer, or..." then she went quiet with a nervous expression.

"Or what," Mei Zhen asks in a concerned tone.

She stutters "Or cancer," in a nervous tone as they all were stunned, looking at each other.

Mei Zhen interrupted "Don't worry, Chin, it's probably acid reflux," in a comforting voice as she pats her on the back, Jia Li and Da-Chung agree with her.

"I hope so," in a down tone, the others hummed as they got on their phones.

After 2 hours, Da-Chung said "Done," in an excited tone as she begins to stretch, "Here watch it," as she turns the laptop so they all can see, they turned their eyes on the laptop. When the video was done playing, she asks "What do you guys think of the video," in a curious tone as she looks at them.

Mei Zhen answered "I think there are some things that could be fixed," in a calm tone. She added "Like the transition at 3:15 is not so smooth and the end wasn't quite on the beat," in a serious tone as she shows the clips.

She replies "I think it looks okay, no one is going to really notice it unless they look closely," in a serious tone.

"Ok, let's ask Jia Li and Chin," in an annoyed as they both look at them.

They both got nervous, Chin suggests "Um, let's go ask for another opinion," in a nervous tone, they agreed so Chin was about to stand up but then Da-Chung made her sit back down.

"Why did you make her sit back down," Mei Zhen asks in a confused tone.

She quietly shouted "Some boys from my school are here, I don't want them to know I do this," as she looks at them while putting her face mask on, then the others put their masks on. Then Chin went to asks someone for their opinion on the video. While they were waiting, Da-Chung and Mei Zhen felt some people sitting at the table behind them, Jai Li whispers "You guys, the group of guys are sitting behind you two."

Da-Chung quietly shouted "What?! Really," in an anxious tone, she nodded, both of them took a quick glance behind. She said "F*ck, we need to make a run before any of them recognize me cause they might come after me," in a tense voice as she puts her head lower.

Jia Li noted "We can make a run after Chin tells us the other opinion," in a calm tone, they nodded.
