POV I

(You can skip the next few chapter titled POV. From here on, for the next few chapters, it would be covering Qi Longwei's POV from the very start. Not first person POV, rather a third person one mainly focusing on Qi Longwei)

The sun was up and shining brightly just like any other day. Qi Longwei, being the 'good kid' was still in bed. At 7:30 a.m exactly, his alarm went off like usual and woke him from his dream.

The dream because of which he liked sleeping early and getting up late. The dream where he could meet the girl he loved. The only way he had the ability to quench the thirst to find her get to know her again. Throughout these years, for almost a decade, this was the only way he could spend some time with the girl who kept him on his toes, with the girl whom he couldn't get over with, with the girl who ruled his heart, with the queen of his heart, his Serenity.

And just like always, he opened his eyes and looked at the photo beside his bed and smiled warmly while wishing ''Good morning my little glutton'' first thing in the morning.

The picture was of a small child, around six years old. She was dressed in a small baby pink knee length frock paired with the same coloured pair of sandals. Her hair was cascaded down her back and both her hands made two hearts each next to her eyes, with her middle finger bent towards the side on which her index finger was placed in a straight manner so that both the fingers intersected on the top joint forming the first heart and then the thumb placed on top of the index to form the second heart.

Her face was fair and adorned with those big eyes and thin pink lips stretched into a beautiful smile made anyone want to pinch those cheeks which still had baby fats on it.

Qi Longwei always looked at the photo everyday but never got tired of it.

Infact, th more he looked at the person in the photo, the more reluctant he felt get up and leave the room. And this was one of the reasons if not the main reason why he was among the last to reach the school ignoring the fact that even if he went earlier, the students would strive to arrive even earlier just to get a couple of more glances at him.
