POV II

''Brother Qi, a new restaurant opened. Heard the food's very good. The ratings are also quite high. Why not go there for din-"

Qi Longwei, Mo Shaoming and Zhang Peizhi were discussing about where to eat while going towards their class when someone ran into Qi Longwei.

Qi Longwei felt quite pissed as the force with which the other person clashed into him wasn't low. It was so hard that the person who ran into him had fallen butt first on the ground. Unable to control his anger due to the pain, Qi Longwei shouted out.

"Are you blind? Can't you watch where you are going?Idiot"

He thought it was like usual as this wasn't the first time someone 'clashed' into him. But it was definitely the first time someone 'clashed' into him so hard.

But as it's said, expect the unexpected. The apology and attachment Qi Longwei expected never came. Instead it was a clear cold and sneering voice which greeted him.

"Heh. I was thinking which idiot it was screaming like a bitch. Turns out it wasn't a bitch rather a mad dog barking at the sight of anything it sees." The girl said a she lifed her head. She had the fairest skin anyone could wish for with big dough like eyes and coffee brown hair. Her pink lips were in perfect shape that anyone would have the wish to kiss it.

But that wasn't what stumped Qi Longwei. What stunned him was as soon as he saw the girl infront of him, two images merged together, the girl in the photo beside his bed and the girl infront of him.

It merged so slowly that Qi Longwei felt as if time had stopped. The girl whom he had been waiting for, the girl if his dreams, the girl who rules his heart, his queen, his Serenity, was infront of him, staring at him.

The anger and then surprise he initially felt was quickly replaced with boundless happiness. He wanted to run towards her and hug her tight, never letting her go. He wanted to hug her so badly that his hands started to itch. The longingness he had tried to suppress all these years were rushing forward as if break free of their cage.

But all these emotions were stopped when he recognized the gaze with which she was looking at him.

It wasn't the same gaze with which he looked at her. It was different. Totally different.

The gaze with which she looked at him was like observing a stranger. As if the person infront of her was someone she met for the first time so she was scrutinizing him. There wasn't any recognition in her eyes. Just plain cold eyes with a little confusion.

Realizing that she didn't recognize him, Qi Longwei felt quite bad or more appropriately hurt. He had always dreamed of the time when the two of them reunited, but he never expected to meet such such gaze instead of the happy or teary eyes he imagined. He never thought that she won't even recognize him. He always thought, there were only two possible outcomes when the two of them met.

Number one: Even after meeting after a long time, almost a decade, she would Stull love him just like she used to and they will have their happily ever after.

Number two: After so many years, she moved on and has already gotten someone else, or she doesn't have feelings for him at all now.

But never in his wildest dreams did he think she won't even recognize him.
