Meeting the shell family
After explaining how we met and how I am friends with a girl from a high ranking family mom invited her for dinner and she accepted we had dinner and when she was about to leave i followed her and we talked a lot then she asked me something unexpected.

"do you want to train with me tommorow, we will have a lot of fun" she said while joining her hand and having a cute smile on her face, I couldn't resist it I just nodded and after that I walked her to her car and we exchanged numbers and she left.

And that's how I ended up in front of the shell's mansion, I just sigh because I couldn't even resist a small smile. I muster all my confidence and open the door even though i have more confidence than before. but, it is still nerveracking to be in front of such a big mansion.

I just pressed on the electric bell and waited for a response soon a voice came from the bell, "are you cain?" asked the person, "yes" I replied and suddenly the door automatically started opening.

There lived the whole shell family, she took me to the entrance and soon I went to the main hall and the shell family was gathered there, all were wearing black, black suit, black shirt basically everything was black as soon as we entered the room all of the people started staring at me.

"welcome" said a person that was sitting at the biggest chair, he had white hair and a fairly buff build it was non other than the current head of the shell family, 'Criston shell' he is one of the strongest hunter, his rank is above S rank he is one of the only ss rank hunter.

"hello sir" I said without any fear in my words, he was indeed surprised by my carefree tone. Normally people would be either scared or would try to be extremely polite when talking to him. But I was talking to him as if he was just an old man.

"what is your purpose, are you trying to use my daughter for her status" said Criston while using his mana to increase the intensity of his voice,I could barely talk because of the pressure from his voice. I could easily tell this was a test to check my true intentions. But it was still humiliating to be looked down upon.

I blushed slightly while liya just started shouting out of embarrassment "shut up dad" and covered her face with her hands. "don't worry this is normal" said liyas mother as she noticed my confusion.
