Family Bond after the Proposal

Kane and Waden stayed with Kane's family and do the old times together. They paint a vivid picture of a timeless, idyllic scene where they engage in a simple yet meaningful activities, fostering bonds with each other and with nature as they usually do before. They go to the river each morning and the boys would catch a fish and a frog. They would cook it at the riverside and eat it all. 

This is to awaken a sense of tradition and continuity, perhaps evoking nostalgic rituals or customs that hold significance to their lives since then. Doing it all with Kane's family to foster a sense of community and shared experiences. Also enriching the sense of belonging and interconnectedness since Waden will be soon will be part of their family.

For Waden doing all these would capture a serene and timeless moment, where they can find solace and fulfillment in the simplicity of their surroundings and in the company of loved ones. As they celebrates the beauty of nature, the richness of relationships, and the value of shared experiences.

Kane also broke the news to her colleagues and asked her superior to go on leave. She was granted a five days leave and so she grabbed that opportunity to spend it with her family and most with Waden. 

On the second day of their stay at Kane's place, they do the usual hiking to Mt. Arko. It is a 5 hours walk and still with Kane's siblings. They typically did it before to test Waden's sincerity to Kane by letting him do their traditional ways. They also made Waden to cutting wood. On that day they decided to sleep at the top until morning. 

"Oh finally we're here," says Kane. "Wooohhhh what a nice!" Waden shouted since he misses it so much because it's been how many years since he set his foot to this beautiful scenario. And it's the place where he asked for Kane to be his girlfriend. For him it was a place to be reminisce with beautiful memories.

"Hey Waden boy, how about the old time?" says Bruka enticing Waden to match with him to whom to be the first to set foot on the crate. Without saying a word, Waden then run so fast. After a few minutes Waden shouted, "well I'm sorry big bro, it's me again." And they all laughed.

Finally they are all finish setting up their tents. The two sat down infront of the beautiful view and talked. Waden asked, "since you already said yes, can we get wed by tomorrow?" Kane became silent and sigh, "hmmmm are you really ready to be married with the most busy woman like me? You know my job is so demanding it takes all my time to be with you?" Waden replied, "Of course, I would never asked if I didn't accept about that. You know I already though of this a long time ago." Kane replied, "Well then give me time first to think all of it, to let it sink to my mind that I'm getting married and that is very helpful for me to accept me to become your wife. Since we're not going back again to being single." Waden just agreed even though he really wanted to married Kane right away even up this moment, "yeah alrigh my queen." Then they hugged.

"Hey lovebirds time for lunch," Wena, Kane's older sister called them. They had steak for lunch match with rice plus barbeque. They enjoyed eating infront of the scenic view as what Kane's really loves. Then Wena broke the silence, "Hey Wade since you are marrying my baby sister, I want you to know that you cannot sleep tight at night when you're with her," Waden asked, "why?" and Wena replied, "well because she's a snoring lady, you cannot see it on her face but yeah she snore at night." Then everybody laughs. Waden just not to upset Kane didn't laugh at all but said, "well we just see who's gonna beat the record, I am a snoring guy too." All even laugh harder.

After they eat they decided to go to the lake near the crater for a swimming. But Kane decided not to swimming as usual because she didn't like the coldness of the water. When they arrived, Waden then jump instantly and invited Kane to do swimming, "hey babe come here now, don't worry you can handle this." Kane was hesitant at first but Waden is persistent and so she tried. 

"Oh it was too cold, I can't take it anymore," says Kane. Waden then hurriedly assisted Kane to get out of the water. After Kane get changed, the two just watch the others swimming on the lake while drinking coffee. It was a sunny day but since it is a high ground, the temperature is usually low. Waden utter, "hey you mentioned before that you want get wed here, if I was right to remember that." Kane said, "yeah but that would be a less convenient to our guests or to me being in gown," then they both laugh. "Hey please give me time I need a year to prepare myself for everything," Kane asked Waden and he replied, "yeah of course you need that." Then they hugged.

It was already 3 o 'clock in the afternoon and the two decided to head first to the tent to prepare for dinner. Waden will be cooking for them because since he arrived, they all wanted to taste how good he is a chef from prestigious restaurant at New York. He'll be cooking a black pasta, a squid curry, sautéed pig liver and salad. 

While Waden was busy cooking, Kane also was grilling barbecues. Wena, Bruka and others then arrive. "Hmmmmm smells so tasty and seeing you both cook even look so gorgy," tease Wena. Kane then responded, "well if you wouldn't stop then you'll be the one who would wash the plates because sad to know you really hate it since ever," and they all laugh.
