Chapter 1

After getting the caretaker of the junkyard under his thumb, Harry strolled inside the of it.

He walked to the very end of it, and started laying down simple concealment runes on in a place where he will build his secret base, they are quite basic ones, they interfere with people sight, not only that but he will need to repower them once per week…

After laying down a square formation one he then work on what he wants to conceal, that process needed a little bit more time, but he decided to make one of the mountains of car junk as the one which will be the focus of the concealment.

Once that was done, he started with his shelter, he needs to build it before night time or he will be sleeping without a roof over his head, and that is not cool in a country which is famous for its rainy weather.

Remembering his time while he was playing survival mode in Minecraft for the first time, and his first night while surrounded by all sorts of creatures, that brought a smile to his face, pity that Minecraft won't be around for long time.

Harry first started with runes which he drew on the ground, what they did is quite simple yet, ingenious, the book taught him quite some insane runes, as this one pulled out block of earth from the ground!

All he needed to do is write four runes on the ground and make them face each other creating a specific block of sorts, that why he thought of Minecraft, to begin with… that rune was created to remember Minecraft by…

With these runes, he started to dig himself into the ground, and just like any male he finally will be able to make his den/workshop/hideout.

But since this is not Minecraft he needed to reinforce the walls he digs out, this, of course, means he is going need to reinforce these runes every couple days otherwise it's going to fall in and if he is going to be sleeping inside his new… bunker and forgets to reinforce the runes with magic he is going to die or going to suffocate from all the dirt dropping on him!

After digging several 'blocks' out Harry had a 'small underground room' ready for him.

Well, 'ready' is a strong word, he needed many things done to make it truly livable…

But for now, he decided to get some food.

Few months have passed since Harry left Dursleys, he truly started to respect… some of more common things like plumping and drinkable water.

Something like that would be alien for him back in his old life, but he now he found how hard is to get such thing, lighting and heat? Those are easy, slapping few runes on the wall and he has light and heat, but water? Or to get a proper shower system in his bunker, now that is a much more difficult thing.

After a week he was able to get it working, he of course had to get several gallons of water, and lay down more than few water gathering wards around his junkyard, which were sent to his bunker where he was able to filter it and add to his water tank.

In other words he good a proper place to live now, that includes a proper bed and food, for food he took over a supermarket, by took over he good whole management and staff under his thump, not that they will miss some food… after all it's a capitalist world they live in, people produce more food than they can sell, to begin with.

After getting basics down, he worked on expanding his bunker as well as building proper entrance and exit, which turned into stairs and a door.

So far he has a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen.

As he was building his new bunker he started to see his shortcomings, his size not including, the amount of magic is one thing, since he has so many runes in his bunker which need supplying with magic he is running low on it quite often.

This led him diving into Runemancy more than Mind Arts and Alchemy.

From simple runes into arrays, he was devouring the book at rapid pace, simply because it just made sense in what he read it, he even found some of the references amusing and funny the author was someone from HIS world, an Otaku no less!

That just helped him in understanding the content, not long after he tested his first arrays, which was a success, but then again drawing arrays are time-consuming, but what he found in the book is that he should create, his way of drawing arrays, more specifically a method which will save time, a template of sorts.

After testing his first array he worked on his runic array template, which was not difficult after reading how to create it, he just needs to have a 'feel' for it, it may sounds weird but to Harry it made sense after all magic is all about intent.

What he found was quite amusing in a sense as he found himself being comfortable with doughnut-shaped template not only that but a doughnut is a wheel type of shape as well, which helps in keeping power inside the template.

Once he finished with his template he started on working with his reinforcement array which will help to keep his bunker safe.

It was quite an easy one, to begin with, the book gave hints how to make it work, and Harry only needed to test the arrangement of the runic letters, after that he tested it by throwing some stuff into it, what he found was quite… magical when a rock just… bounce of from wall of dirt…

After finishing with the array he tested how long does it last and oh boy he was happy with this find, because of doughnut-shaped form the magic stays much longer in the array, this gave him another idea which was to designate area how far the array's magic is reaching, this improved the duration even further!

With this enchantment he lost track how long the enchantment going to last so he decided to create measurement type array which will be attached to the main reinforcement rune, this lead to next level of Arrays which is called a 'cluster'.

Meaning that one Doughnut shaped Array is attached to another one by a 'bridge', if he can create more of this kind of bridges connected to arrays then a 'cluster' will be transformed into a 'system'.

That can be considered an artefact if those arrays are inscribed into an item of sorts, a true apex of magical enchantment.

There are two ways to create a 'bridge' most common one is created by muggles which is can be found in old-style gears found in clocks and watches, the other one is being a magical bridge goes from one array to another, but this one has a catch, since Harry style is 'a doughnut' meaning that middle of the array is empty, that means he CAN add something inside, and what Harry found after that has blown his mind, as he decided to add pure magic inside of the array, and then adding some motion to it the array started to spin and the 'array bridge' started to glow!

This has lead to mind-boggling discovery, the array cluster started to produce magic on its own!

That means it's self-sustaining! Harry started to smirk after finding this!

After this discovery, Harry quickly reinforced all the walls with this type of array.

With this new type of arrays, Harry realised that he has much time now on his hand, which lead him to reading the three books.

The book on Mind Arts, continuously told him to develop the Mind Palace, which had a startling side effect on him in the outside world, which made him more focused, and sensitive to magic as he needs more and more magic to develop his mind palace.

The sensitivity to magic allowed him to understand magic in more depth, as well as leading him in casting wandless magic more easily, he needs less emotions and effects are more controlled.

But all the studying started to bore him, which lead him to develop another hobby, since he was living in a car junkyard, Harry spend one day exploring the yard when he found a car engine without a car, the engine, of course, was missing a lot of parts which only made Harry giddier just thinking about the challenge of putting this together!

Since the whole thing weight quite a bit, the boy then decided to create a method which can enhance his muscles with magic in a way which can give him a strength boost.

It didn't take much as his new sensitivity to magic help him control it to a great degree, which constantly increases with his growing mindscape.

After bringing the engine close to his bunker, Harry started to work by converting the ground into something more even and presentable, and ground was nothing more than wet and oily dirt…

This made him use alchemy to a much larger degree than ever before, once that was done, Harry had to go outside and hunt down some books on engineering, while he knows how to program in his previous life, car engines were not his strong suit.

Once he arrived at the book store, Harry realised that his age is something of an annoyance, and constantly mind-controlling, suggesting, and wiping will be... annoying.

So, he decided to take as much as possible, on engineering, building, electronics, math…

And so, after getting everything he wanted he just left, he decided not to appear in this area for several years, since there were too many people and someone would inform police about three-year-old walking around without adult…

Once again Harry was shocked just how quickly he read through the whole book on cars, he found it incredibly easy actually!

Before he can do anything, he needed tools, and he has no intention of leaving his junkyard, instead he laid down a few arrays and brought some steel and used alchemy to shape into tools he needs from screwdrivers to hammers he made everything with alchemy.

After that he started with fixing the car engine.

First was cleaning it off, then finding out which parts are missing, then using alchemy to recreate them.

All in it only took him a few weeks go fix, what he found hardest was that the whole thing was like a puzzle, once he knew how it worked it became… boring.

Once the engine was put together and finding out that it works Harry interest went somewhere else, as he was more else computer lover he decided to focus on that.

That means he wants to build a calculator, by using only runes and alchemy.

While it's not quite hard as he thought, what truly was hard was the material it's going to build off, as Harry very quickly found that simple plastic simply melted from holding active array.

This lead Harry using steel plate instead, which once again started to heat up from holding two active arrays which is not enough to hold a 'system' of arrays.

Because of this setback, Harry had to delve into Alchemy, so he went into reading the alchemy book.

By this point he noticed one extremely crazy thing…

And that is that these three books hold more than several thousand pages, Harry realised that he underestimated the authors of these books, as they said that he will become 'Master' of these three arts and they were god damn serious.

As he found out that is he needs better magical metal then he should just make one!

'And they say that I need philosopher stone to make gold…' Harry snorted after reading formula how to make gold, all he needs is a specific transmutation array.

After all, Runes and Alchemy reinforce one another!
