Chapter 13

Over a month has passed since his school got a new P.E. teacher.

Nothing much has happened. Raynold did notice that the teacher pays extra attention to him. But, that comes with the fact that he has extra work in keeping his territory clean.

Apart from that he noticed that there was another, older student girl, which had Honkai energy in her body. But, apart from that there was nothing else.

According to his father, the cultists have infiltrated their town. But it's fine. As long as they don't do anything stupid and don't interfere with his life they can live in his town.

Not that he has time to waste with them as he has been training his kitten, and then training Seele as well as working with the stigmata, which he still has clue about kittens' stigmata. Hell, his kitten was shocked to know that she has one in the first place.

According to her, it's a Kaslana thing and Kaslanas are warriors and heroes. Which only made Raynold roll his eyes though it made sense that she has one.

The girl is quite dramatic about her family which abandoned her. Though she is much more controlled about it than she was before.

Regardless of all that he was with her in Siberia as Seele was close… She was close to forming her core. On her own without anyone's help. Not only the girl overcame her wild Stigmata but she was close to becoming a Golden Core Cultivator.

It was not just Raynold but the entire orphanage was waiting for this moment. All the girls have gathered to watch this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Well for them it was a lifetime moment, even for the black-haired boy and white-haired girl this was quite a special moment

Especially since Kiana knows the significance of this. She knows what is a Herrscher better than Raynold who sees things through his 'unique vision' of things.

Right at this moment they are going to see another Herrscher being born. One which Raynold has raised himself. A girl who should have 'died' by normal circumstances is about to become one of the strongest beings on the planet.

It was a seriously big moment.

"It's happening," Cocolia said with an anxious tone. She didn't realise but she was holding her breath. The only one who was calm about this was Raynold. Who had a thoughtful look on his face?

Seele who was sitting cross-legged started to glow. Black, red, white, and blue energies exploded from her as he started to float.

Her clothes started to change. She had a black Gothic dress that had layers of black, red, white, and blue. One of her knee-length boots was black and red while the other one was white and blue. Apart from that he had ornaments on her hair similar to one wielded by the Queen of Void, it was emitting Honkai energies that radiated both death and life.

Once she was fully transformed the girl landed on the ground and opened her eyes. One could see her blue eyes which had red hexagon pupils. She was a proper Herrscher and her power was absurd by human standards.

"...I just clocked over 7000… We should be dead by this point ma'am!" One of Cocolia's assistants said while trying to understand what amount of energy he was seeing on his laptop.

"Not bad for someone just entering the Golden Core stage. Once she starts absorbing more she will continue to grow stronger and stronger." Raynold said as he crossed his arms.

Though internally he was annoyed that the core he created with the symbol utterly pales in comparison to what the girl is emitting.

"Seele, how are you feeling?" Cocolia asked with concern as she saw how the newly born Herrscher was confused as she was looking at her hands.

"Oh? I am fine, Mother! I am just…feeling very, very strong." Seele said with a smile on their lips. The girl was feeling overwhelmed by the amount of power she has!

"Good to her." The blonde lady said with a relieved tone.

"Now Seele. I think we should do some practice runs. You need to adjust to your power." As Raynold said, his body glowed and his clothes shifted. He was now dressed in martial artist clothes. He was wearing gloves that were radiating 'weight'.

'This is Raynold's Herrscher form! It's so…simple!?' Cocolia thought alongside her assistants, the same with the children, they were wondering why his Herrscher form is so… Simple?

Though only Kiana knew the truth which made her embarrassed with her Queenly dress for her Herrscher clothes.

As he said himself:

'We only just started. Why the hell do we call ourselves Sovereigns!? we can barely shake a single small rock in a wide universe!?'

In other words… His Herrscher clothes represent his current progress in strength…

"Right!"

The newly born Herrscher got into position before she was confused.

"Umm…big brother…what should I do?"

"The moment you had your breakthrough you automatically gained a concept. Use your instincts. Let them guide you."

Seele nodded before her eyes had a certain serious look. Black and red energies gathered in her arm. That moment a huge black and red Scythe manifested in her arms.

"Sweet God…what on Earth!?" Cocolia said with utter shock. This was a Herrschers weapon!? Even someone gentle and pacifist can become the God of Death. This is what Herrschers can do! Just imagining them following the will of Honkai makes a cold chill pass through her body.

"A scythe? While it looks scary, those things are not meant for 1 vs 1. Hell…they are not even considered weapons. By normal standards."

While Raynold was impressed by the sheer presence of her weapon. It was still Scythe… Scythes are usually used to cut grass.

"...You think that Big Brother? Seele doesn't know… It just came to me like this…" The girl was confused, she just leaned at the scythe for a bit.

"Well it doesn't matter, just come at me with everything you are good at."

The newly born Herrscher nodded before a single black and white wing appeared behind her. With a burst of speed, she was in front of Raynold who completely followed her movement.

At that moment Seele's eyes widened as she sensed that she got much heavier and that she can't dodge the incoming smack.

With a simple smack, she was sent flying away.

"Don't worry about that hit. Herrschers can take much more than that just to feel the damage." Kiana explained as she saw Raynold going after Seele.

He did this just to make sure Seele doesn't kill someone by accident. After all, she just had a massive power boost.

"Let's follow them." As the white-haired girl said that she transformed as well. Making a black and orange portal open in front of them.

"This will lead to the battlefield. Though there is some distance between us."

As she said Kiana took a big step with her void and passed to another side.

The rest followed after her. Though they didn't expect to see some crazy stuff!

"What the hell…"

What they saw was Seele's commanding tentacles made from black and red energy! They come out from portals as each smack from them literally turns trees into rotten old and simply decomposes in just mere moments later.

Apart from that, she is throwing waves of red energy from her scythe.

"She will lose soon," Kiana said with a simple tone as she crossed her arms. What she saw was someone wasting her huge reserves on heavy-cost moves.

"Seele just became a Herrscher… She doesn't have experience with even half of her moves." Bronya said with a small huff.

"I guess… You can say this is where Raynold puts one in its place. One gets a big head from the amount of power one gets from the transformation." Kiana said that while brushing her hair. Something she picked up after seeing Sirin doing it constantly.

"Speaking from experience?" Bronya asked casually as she saw Seele losing her weapon before being made the drop to her knees.

It was not a battle more like Seele throwing her moving around and Raynold just practising his dodging skills. Before the right time approached and he went on offence with minimal wasted moves.

"Uggghhhn…do you want me to make you fall for several hours?" Kiana threatened to make Bronya put in her imaginary space for several hours.

"I will tell big brother that you are threatening a kid younger than you with your supernatural powers," Bronya said with crossed arms. Copying how Kiana does.

"...You little…"

The Ash-haired girl simply shrugged her arms. It's goddam the truth! A Herrscher is threatening a simple girl!

Raynold was impressed by the versatility of Seele's new powers. The girl uses 'death' for offence and 'life' for defence. Not only that but she can quite effortlessly heal herself and others around her.

While the whole tentacle thing is just to control the battlefield.

In other words…she from the very beginning gets the tools to become powerful without any sort of training.

"Not bad, Seele. Your big brother is impressed."

The moment he praised her the girl gushed and fiddled for a bit.

It looked quite amusing as she was holding a huge Scythe in her hands…but she was still acting like a small child.

"Now that you have released all that energy, the next part is for you to get control over your newly formed core."

"Ohh! It's how you can transform at a moment's notice!? Seele was thinking that it's quite convenient! Because I don't think I can do it at this moment."

The girl said that with a huge frown because her whole body is just radiating energy.

"Yes. It's part of training. This is where you pick up how to compress at the moment you notice… Once you learn that you can do things like that."

As he said that pointed his palm and a ball of energy gathered and a beam of energy rushed into a tree, disintegrating it in the process.

"Oh… Looks dangerous…"

"Yes, depending on how you wish to utilise it. You can make it explosive or just pure structure. You could beat up people with solid energy blocks." He said with a shrug. Before proceeding to tell her how to do it. It's quite easy to do as Honkai energy by nature condenses into round objects in crystalline form.

Raynold simply abuses the nature of Honkai.

Though it was not as easy as she thought. It was like trying to control a water flow with her bare hands.

"Don't worry if you can't do it on your first try. It took several weeks for my kitten to get the hang of it." He said while patting her head.

"A-Alright!" The girl nodded at him with extra excitement. She can't wait to master this just so that he could praise her for her hard work!

"...Umm…big brother, why are you calling big sister Kiana 'Kitten'?" She asked him after gathering her courage. This was something she wanted to learn for a while now.

"Hmm? That's because she looks like a cat."

"Heh? Because of that?"

"And because she likes cats, behaves like a cat, she likes cuddling like a cat. So she is my kitten." He said with an obvious tone.

"O-Oh I see…" Seele nodded with understanding…so it was in the most literal sense…

She was wondering about this nickname he is calling her.

"Yep. Though you can't call her that. She takes offence to anyone who is calling her, except me. The girl takes it personally."

"I understand. I think she reserved that name just for you."

"Indeed. Now let's return, they look anxious."

After saying that the pair proceeded to return to the group.

"While I don't mind for you to spar. The issue is that you two blasted the trees away. Now all the cold wind is going to blast right into our house." Cocolia said while pointing at a portion of the missing forest.

"Ohhhhh! Sorry, mother! Let me fix it!!!

Seele dashed back into the forest and proceeded to use her 'life' powers.

"I guess any Herrschers weakness is their mothers." Kiana sagely said that to herself.
