Chapter Ninety-two 

Ying Zetian had her men cleared a path towards outside of Changan and her wedding and ascension ceremony will be held on a platform in front of the heads of the once four powerful gentry families. Ying Zetian just wanted her dear father, Shuang Guan Yi to see her ascension to the throne that he once tries but failed to take over. Tang Wudi held Ying Zetian's hands open and absentmindedly start drawing heart shapes again and again in the palm of her hands while he smiles at her seemingly besotted. Ying Zetian on the other hand was listening to the cheers outside of their carriage while thinking of how to carry out the ideas she had for Tai Ping. Ying Zetian had her men throw coins instead of the usual wedding candies while the carriage was moving. Ying Zetian did not even notice when they reach their destination and was pulled out by her thoughts when Tang Wudi gently bit her ear while whispering.

"Now, now my Ying er really looks like a bride, all cherry red and ripe for mu plucking tonight."

Ying Zetian glare at Tang Wudi in silent protest while he laughs softly. Tang Wudi then proceed to carry Ying Zetian out of the carriage causing Ying Zetian to blush while trying to hide her face in Tang Wudi's chest. Ying Zetian had agreed with Tang Wudi when he suggest not to make the imperial couple more human like instead of being gods and thus the reason why Tang Wudi was behaving like his usual self, a mischievous crook.

Although Ying Zetian was still shy, but she was pleased at Tang Wudi's actions as she heard the citizens screaming in support of the new dynasty and new imperial couple. Although even if Ying Zetian knew, she could not be bothered with the officials who did not celebrate the new dynasty and new imperial couple.
