A branch of magic that I couldn't blitz learn about learn instantly.
This magic is complicated
It's like the magic that I learned was tic tac toe and now I was learning how to speedrun the Dark Souls series with no glitches.
I sigh as I close one of the books and turn to Cagliostro
He is tired and injured as he was attacked ferociously by beings from other dimensions.
He won of course
But he is exhausted right now
The more powerful ones are interfering as much as they can with him getting access to energy from other dimensions.
This branch of magic is truly special
Not only does it affect beings from other dimensions but also works with other universes as well.
Theoretically, If I were to go to another universe my magic would be way more effective than it would in this one.
I would try it however, in this one I am still a novice and even that is giving me too much credit
The difficult part about this is that I have to practice on dimensional beings in order to actually get better with it. There is only so much I can learn from a book
Sure, Cagliostro is giving me pointers and all, but even then it's difficult for me.
I look at him and sigh at the extent of the damage
He is going to die in a few days

Sure, a lot of them are more about the theory than anything else. Only about 41% of that are books on how to fight using magic.
I sigh again
Being a dimension lord has its perks but it's just limiting me right now
I have to follow protocols in order to not anger the multiversal level beings in marvel
Even if I can beat the majority of them rather easily the stronger ones are unknown to me

When I became as powerful as I am now I drew their attention to me which is not good for my health
Thankfully, I found an answer
Absorption of other beings
Truthfully, I don't want to 'eat' other beings however, with some adjustments this may be my answer to gain attributes that I never had before.
To start with I am going to absorb myself like the Ouroborous dragon is shown to do.
If I devour my own dimension which is an extension of myself I would remove the limitations that I gave to myself.
The only downside is that I would have to lose my dimension lord status
Plus my way of traversing the omniverse
Which would mean that others would try to fuck with me over and over again
But the rewards far outweigh the cost

"That is everything," said Cagliostro while I received some robes that he himself enchanted
"Thank you for everything," I answered sincerely glad that I spent time here but I have to return he is going to die in a year or so which is more than enough interference from me
We walk outside in silence and as we do I turn to him and bow in respect
"Come now there is no need to bow. If anything I should bow down to you," He told me while chuckling a bit
These past few weeks have been rather fun

"You know there is one thing I learned while I interacted with you," He says while I turn to look at him
"You have the powers of a god yet. You did not become arrogant or believe in your own power and at least most of the times that you told me. Is that compassion is not a sign of weakness or naivety when it comes to you," He said
"You trust people, you give them second chances and they live up to your expectations. People may think you are weak but in reality. You are the one who is strong since you know what it is you are doing when you spare someone," He said
"What I am trying to say is that when someone is as strong as you. It means that you see something in them that others don't," He said while I raise an eyebrow at him
"Yes, yes, I know that you kill people who force themselves on others. But, you still believe that it is good in someone. That is what makes you strong. You have not encountered any actual challenge to your power yet. You are prepared for when you do," He said turning back to look at the sun
"What is it you keep saying, there is always someone stronger than you. As terrifying as the implications of that saying are. It also means that we should never stop improving ourselves. For that lesson I thank you," He finished while I smile at that
"Goodbye, my friend," I said to him as I disappear in a flash of white and black lightning
