The main Characters of my book is Shakeila Thomas and Jahvarne Milliner. Both didn't know each other, Jahvarne was busy with both football and tennis practices plus he has to focus in his classes so there's no way he has time to take a breath; while, Shakeila has to deal with Tera Smith (the school's biggest bully) also she got to keep her grades up in order for her to get a scholarship to attend college.
None have them have time to take breaths both have to be working so hard and making sacrifices in order to stay on the right track.
Shakeila the clumsy girl she always was, was the first to crossed over in Jahvarne's Track and he couldn't resist her; he's been acting as if he's not interested but deep down inside she makes him want to do things he'd never thought that he'd ever do. She's too acting as if Jahvarne's not the most gorgeous person she's ever seen.
now that they've crossed in each other's world what will happen; you'll never know unless you read the story to get a better understanding of there ongoing interaction.

Listening to your heartbeat

I can't believe its already been a week since Jahvarne and I have bond. I'm wondering what he's up to at this point in time. 


And so he has me thinking its only been a week but after the first three days he keeps a little distance, in my head I'm always like he's focusing on school or he has both football and tennis practice to attend and he has to keep is head in the game no time for distractions; but a little heads up would be nice though. 


I was starting to get the hang of Jahvarne been here at this time laughing like an idiot, but today's an unlucky day cause he told me earlier that he has Tennis practice at lunch time I mean who does that when they get a food break (JAHVARNE MILLINER). 


otherwise from him not been there I can't help thinking that he's been acting a lil distance lately. I mean he like says 'hi' or 'how was your day?', but otherwise from that he passes me without even glancing at me which was a bit weird; but I guess he just need time for himself. 


"Boo-oh Jahvarne's not here to accompany you today? maybe he's just starting to think that his popularity is fading since he's friends with you", said Tera with a smirk on here face 


I can't believe I'm actually gonna stand up to this bitch today but hey guess what, "And I don't see how any of that is your problem Tera and if his popularity is been affected by our friendship then why didn't he just say it from the start huh?" I said annoyed 


she gasped and attempt to answer me but I cut her off, "save your little excuses for someone else go pick on someone else bitch I'm not in the mood for your drama today, so get lost!!!!!! I screamed at her 


Tera was not happy that she slapped me in the face. Now and only now she's gonna get a taste of my rage I grabbed wear she slapped me and looked at here surprisingly and before she knew it I was on top of her not giving her any chance to hit me again I punched her in the face a couple times and also in the stomach; "just so you know I went to self defense classes in fifth grade", I said before removing myself from her now trembling body. I earned a few whistles and the most comfortable hug a girl could ask for at this point from Jahvarne himself. I needed that so I hugged him back. 


Tera friends along with some teachers were helping her to the nurses offices while I was untangled from Jahvarne by my most favorite teacher to the principal's office. 


um- well I thought it was the principal's office but it's her classroom where she was wearing a wide grin and she was jumping up and down happily. 


"Shakeila I never thought that someone would stand up to that whore and I never thought it would be you", she said happily 


I was taken aback by her use of language and how childish she's acting right now 


"yea well someone was gonna stand up to her sooner or later but I glad I got the chance to do so before anyone else could", I said feeling confident and all.

You just actually beat the shit out of Tera Freaking Smith Keila and I know that you enjoyed it just as much as I do and I hope that we could do It again, its been so long since we showed off our great self defense skills; and what was that hug for from Jahvarne? My inner voice scream at me and I was completely wondering the same thing.
