Some Don't Heal

When Sophie finally packed her things away and finished showering, she changed into her pyjamas and went downstairs. It was a little over 8p.m and she made a bowl of cereal and sat on the couch, checking her social media. 


She saw that Emily added her picture she posted to her story highlights. She noticed a number of profiles she didn't recognize started following her. She checked through those accounts and some were either private or of college students, but they were mostly all having Emily as a mutual. 


She went to Emily's page and took note of the 9 posts she had on her page, five from the year before and four in this year. She rarely posted, but when she did, damn if Sophie's confidence flew out the window.
