Several years before Star Wars. The Rise of Skywalker, Rey Palpatine traveled across the galaxy to find the next generation of Jedi. Cale and five other children have been chosen to learn the ways of the Force. Cale will have to prove himself to everyone that he has what it takes to eventually become Rey's apprentice. Does he have what it takes?

Rey stormed back to the throne room, the burning Resistance fighters moving out of the way as she walked. She felt like smiling, jumping for joy that she ended the Resistance, now her reign would be unstoppable. 


Empress Rey Palpatine walked to the laboratory, the Supreme Leader Snoke clones in their tubes glowering at her. The scientists caught sight of her and bowed, then scurried away. 


Empress Rey Palpatine linked up a comm, and General Pryde shimmered into existence on a hologram. His eyes widened in shock. 


Scanvenger! You, how did you get this? Asked General Pryde. 


Empress Rey Palpatine laughed softly, with no emotion. Why, General, I inherited it. You're under my rule, now. Replied Empress Rey Palpatine.


Pryde knit his eyebrows. Lies. Deception. Where is Kylo Ren? Said General Pryde. 


Empress Rey Palpatine smiled. Kylo Ren is dead, General. He was weak and foolish, like his father and uncle. Replied Empress Palpatine. At this she felt a tiny pang in her heart. Ben was weak. But Kylo. 


Empress Rey Palpatine dismissed the thought. Pryde, I need a transport here. Now. As you served my grandfather in the old wars, you will serve me now. I've come to finish what he started. Said Empress Rey Palpatine. 


Pryde scowled. Lies. Witch. You are not going to. Replied General Pryde. 


But he never finished his insult, because he was being Force choked. Empress Rey Palpatine's golden eyes oozed anger. General Pryde's mouth dripped blood, glistening blue in the hologram. Yes. Right away, Lady Palpatine. Said General Pryde, before he was Force choked to death by Rey. 


Twenty minutes later Empress Rey Palpatine sat on a swivel chair in the General's meeting room, all of them had their blaster rifle's pointed at her. 


I assume you want to know why I'm here. Well, you want power. With me leading the Final Order, we will rule the galaxy. My grandfather speaks to me in my head. He knows which path will lead us to victory. Said Empress Rey Palpatine. 


Empress Rey Palpatine swivelled around the general's. Well, what do you think? She asked them. 


A general stepped forward. We are not going to take orders from a scanvenger. He fired his blaster at Rey. 


Empress Rey Palpatine stopped the bolt midair. The General was lifted from the ground, by her Force choke. Empress Rey Palpatine narrowed her eyes. There was a sickening snap, and the General fell dead to the ground. 


Empress Rey Palpatine rose from her chair. And the general's stumbled back. Rey smirked. Their fear. It was... peasant. She remembered the scanvengers of Jakku using drugs and potions for pleasure, but this... it felt wonderful. 


Rey heard Palpatine sigh contently in her ear. 


The general's took a deep bow. One of them stood up. Em... my lady, who is exactly your grandfather? Asked the general. 


Empress Rey Palpatine turned around and sat back in her chair. The power... it runs through my veins. His blood gives me strength... Replied Empress Rey Palpatine. 


A General gasped. Palpatine. You, you're his granddaughter aren't you? He asked Rey. 


Empress Rey Palpatine nodded. I've come to finish what he started. We will start our galactic domination tomorrow. The Final Order rises.  Said Empress Rey Palpatine. 


In her mind, she heard Palpatine laugh. Good. Good girl. Replied Emperor Palpatine. 


Empress Rey Palpatine smiled. Family was what she always wanted. And under her rule, the Palpatine family will have it's name restored.
