Prologue

For a long time, Vampires and werewolves have existed. They were once proud rulers of their territory and ruled over other species. However, because of their proud nature, they refused to bow down to each other due to their differences, eventually, they waged war. Vampires were few in numbers, however, they were gifted with Intelligence, supernatural abilities, and immortality. On the other hand, werewolves could shapeshift, granted with animal instinct and strength, and lastly, the ability to produce in numbers.

At first, both sides were equal in strength. However as time passed, although werewolves could expand their species through mating, it takes time to nurture the children into adults. As more and more Lycans died in battle, their populations decreased drastically. While vampires were immortal, they were weak to the sun. but they found a new way to counter their weakness which is to infect some of the humans with their venom and turn them into Dhampir (Infected humans) who are unaffected by sunlight. The vampires made a deal with the human species by helping them with the war in exchange for knowledge and riches for their Kind.

Thus, centuries passed, the war ended and peace returned. The war led the Lycans to near extinction, their territories were already taken from the humans, and vampires- were forced to hide in the dark.

Whereas, the vampires settled down and decided to isolate themselves from the humans to remain peaceful between two kinds. Few years passed by, during the gathering; a recent conflict arose were some of the vampires who were restless from the isolation began to disturb the peace between Vampires and Humans causing the breach of the treaty between the two species.

While they were discussing a solution, one vampire suggested a game of hunt to appease the vampires, a thrilling event where vampires will hunt for the last remaining Lycans. The ones who were able to capture a Lycan would be able to keep them as a trophy or a slave. With this, vampires could get the excitement without disrupting the humans' livelihood.

Hence, the experience of hell soon falls for the Lycans.
