A New Party To Dungeon With

Justin looked down the street after exiting the shop. The line had already reformed in the time that he had been gone. As he was trying to decide what to do, a guard suddenly ran up to him panting from the exertion.

"Sir! The Captian has requested your presence. She says she has a quest for you."

"Alright. Well let's go see her then."

The two of them head to the barracks stopping only long enough for Justin to grab a kebab being sold at a kiosk on the road. When they arrive, the guard leads them to the captian and immediately takes his leave.

""Hey Captian how can help you?" Justin asks as soon as he makes it to her office room.

"Justin! I'm sorry for this. I know you just arrived. Did you a chance to visit the Shop?"

"I did." he chuckles. "And came away with quite an equipment upgrade." He makes a pose showing off his near gear.

"Ha! Good! Your going to need it! If you decide to help us."

Justin gets serious as he hears her.

"Sure how can I help?"

"A new Dungeon just formed up near our town. I was hoping you could check it out. Most if no all the guards and citizens here have never even set foot in one. Our scout says it's a lvl 20 dungeon, so higher than anyone here can handle. I'd like you take a guard or 2 with you."

"Hmm...I can definitly check it out. Can you make sure one of those guards has some spells? I've found having elemental options tend to help."

"Most definitly! I have just the one in mind. Thank you so much Justin." she sighs in relief. "...and justin?"

"hmm?"

"Please be careful. You are the most experienced and high level person we have. Don't. Die."

He smirks light heartedly.

"Yes Ma'am!"

Justin leaves the barracks after the Captian calls in his new party members. They are Already waiting for him at the entrance when he exits. Both of them are completely opposite from each other. One stands a clear 6'4". A gruff scarred looking man in some seriously heavy looking armor. The other is a petite but lean and fit female. Black hair and brown eyes look at him curiously as he walks to them, her clear Hispanic descent is noted in the back of Justin's mind.

"Hi are you Justin?" The gruff looking man asks and steps forward. His voice is surprisingly friendly at odds with his appearance.

"I am! You two must be my new partners-in-arms!" He smiles at the man. The mans stark blue eyes look him up and down before he nods.

"This is Cera. My name is Derrick." he reaches out a hand and they shake hands. "I'm a...DPS and Tank build from what the nerds call me. Cera here throws spells."

Justin looks to Cera, but she remains quiet, content to just listen.

"Ok. Derrick. I'm a bit of a jack of trades myself. Defence skills, Decent attack, and healing."

"Is it true you have already cleared a dungeon?" Cera suddenly asks.

"Yes its true. actually We cleared it three times in a row. It was difficult but very rewarding. I...I had help."

She nods and stays silent after that, clearly deep in thought.

"So...that's Cera. Ha! She is a mage obviously. An elemental mage to be exact. She is ALL offensive spells. While most are low level, she has some spells of every type. Whatever we find in there She is sure to have something it's weak at."

"Well alright then. I guess wecan go ahead and head out. Unless you want to wait until tomorrow?" Justin asks. "Also I'm not really the leading type, but since the Captian asked me to I'll try my best. Just please don't be afraid to give advice and/or suggestions. I'm not gonna let you guys die out because of my own pride."

Derrick nods approvingly "I appreciate that. A good leader always listens to suggestions. Yeah I think we are good to go. It's only an hour away. We can make camp when we get to the entrance. I heard dungeon monsters can't leave a dungeon until 30 days after it's formed. So it's safe...enough."

The three of them head out, taking the hour to go over each other's skills and abilities. They form some basic plans and escapes and decide to take it slowly at first.
