Chapter Two: Boundless Space

When Bai Ying returned to the residence she saw Xiao Yu sitting in meditation releasing an aura so profound that she had a feeling of standing in front of the heavenly Emperor.

'This boy is not Simple, it seems as though he's unconsciously speeding up his recovery but how is such a thing possible of a boy who looks as if he's still in his teens. And this imposing aura .... as I thought he's of noble blood but not even the ""Ryuji"" clan could produce someone of this age capable of releasing such an aura . Depending on his background i could either be inviting fortune or misfortune, and to do so without his memory is simply astonishing. From the feel and range of this one it would seem he belongs to the sukauto group, to think I would meet such a talented scout by chance .

Xiao Yu had long sensed Bai Yangs return , but the more he meditated the more he felt as though he was getting closer to something. Without knowing what that something was his only choice was to keep cycling his meditation. But as he sunk deeper into the debts of his mind....

"Whaaa?!" Bai Ying witnessed something never before seen

A change suddenly occurred, one the completely erased her easy going face In on of terror. Sukauto the scbreezeout group was know for their proficiency in using their aura to detect everything in their surroundings. While they could fight they were better situating themselves in a position of advantage , the aura the released was calm and refreshing as a sea in order to lower the enemy's guard. But Xiao Yūsuke previously calm and majestic suddenly became violently torrential, for a moment she even forgot how to breath , "this fierce and violent aura can only belong to the kyōshinja group. Those berserkers are not only extremely violent but it's common for them to have a bear like physique, yet this seemingly frail you man is not apart of just one but two groups, one of which causes a person to be extremely violent by nature yet I can sense no I'll will emanating from him. Hehehe it seems I was right to pick this handsome fellow up, though I'm apart of the anarisuto group my analytical skill should be a great help to Xiao Yu. Well there's plenty of time to think of such things in the future, let just make sure this one doesn't slip away hehe." Bai Yang wore a seductive smile as she finished talking and silently observed Xiao Yu.

Whiteout knowing the changes occurring Xiao Yu was floating in his sea of consciousness. This form of meditation is something that has been reach by only one other person throughout history, the head monk of kakureta sora. Within ones sea of consciousness would reside an ever expanding universe.

" What in the world is going on" while drifting through this boundless space Xiao Yu observed his surroundings with a befuddled face,

" I was only meditating, how did I end up here. And why does this seem so familiar. How am I suppose to get out when I haven't a clue on how I got here?" While Xiao Yu was deep in thought the scenery around him started to change . It was then that he saw a lone figure practicing a martial art he can't remember seeing before . Unknowingly he stared at the man in wonder for what seemed like days. Eventually he tried copying the figures movements time and time again and this time was twice as long. But looking at the figures majestic martial art and trying to learn it Xiao Yu completely forgot the presence of time . Even the thought of leaving this unknown place left his mind, the only thought he currently had was to follow the movements of the figure before him. After spending what would fell like months to an outsider looking in Xiao Yu was now perfectly following the figures moves like a mirror . Eventually the scenery around him began to change back but Xiao Yu was still following those same moves, it wasn't until the space he was in began to shake that he regained his awareness .

" what the hell is going on!?!? It feel like my heads splitting . Ahhhhh!!!! " with an ear splitting scream Xiao Yu failed to notice the rapid change in scenery once again. When the headache finally stopped he opened his eyes only to find Bai Yang staring at with a smile as though she was ready to eat him here. In her eyes held excitement , surprise , intrigue, expectation and even a hint of shyness could be seen.

" Your finally back, I can't believe you would ignore such a beauty for two hours just to meditate " Bai Yang pouted but Xiao Yu actually felt she was acting coquettish, like a mistreated wife. Then his thoughts went in another direction.

" Wait a minute... I'm back ? I really made it back?? Hahaha!! The heavens must really favor me ! First I survived a seemingly perfect Assassination plot then I actually got out of that accursed domain ! Hahaha! Xiao Yu was laughing so wildly that even the normally calm Bai Yang jumped in fright .

"Back? Back from where ? you never left from that spot . And do you mean to tell someone attempted to assassinate you? How would you even know such a thing, have your memories returned? "Bai Yang was full of questions at the moment.

' This boy is really not simple, he seems to come from a noble family but I've never heard of this Xiao family. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to stick with him for a while'

" it's difficult to explain, it seems I must have meditated on a regular basis because my form wasn't implemented intentionally it was as if my body got into the perfect form on its own. I could sense the space around me, people and even animals. When I focused that same sense on myself I found that I was able to tell the condition of my body, I identified every injury but in the process i found out that I had previously been poisoned . A very small amount still resides in me and that may be the reason I was unconscious for so long, my body's been fighting the poison off. I wasn't lucky enough to get my memories back but I used that same sense to dispel the little poison left and slowly heal my injuries " After saying this Xiao Yu lifted his shirt show a well defined body , at a glance one would never think he was just a step away from deaths door..

"But the something extremely weird occurred , I was only intending to heal the injuries but I gradually began to lose my sense of self ,even forget what I was originally doing. As weird as this may sound It felt as though I feel into my own mind . There I wondered through a boundless space for what seemed like years . Honestly I was scared out of my wits thinking I would never be able to return , that when the scenery around me changed. Someone was the practicing some type of martial art over and over, while I only watched at first his movements were so mystical I began trying to copy him . I must have made at least a million attempts but I felt no sense of time, the figure disappeared when I had complete mastery over his movements but I was so immersed I continued just as he did . It was until the space around me began to shake and I received a head splitting head ache that I came back to my senses, when I opened my eyes you were there " When speaking on these events Xiao Yus expression constantly changed from fear to envy to excitement then back to fear. Seeing such a thing Bai Yang almost couldn't resist laughing. But then she had a look of complete shock on her face.

" Wait! You said you dived into you consciousness for what seemed like years? And you even learned a form of martial arts there?! " the look on Bai Yangs face was near fanatical to the point where Xiao Yu stayed crawling away from her.

" Cough , sorry I got a little too exited " Bai Yang realizing her slip up quickly went back to her original demeanor, but the excitement in her eyes couldn't be hidden.

"Little Yu while I'm not 100 percent sure as not only me but no known human has been found to be able to reach that stage of meditation in thousands of years. If I remember correctly it's called Maindoyunibāsu or bāsu in simple terms ,it's said that if one is to attain this state they would even have the right to challenge the heavens! Do you understand? If this really is the same thing then I'm witnessing a legend in the making and that's only a small part of it, because no one has reached such a stage all information comes from either myths of vaguely explained in historical texts" Bai Yangs speech was getting higher as she spoke showing her excitement .

' Now I'm sure following him is the right thing to do and while it seems others are after his life I myself am no pushover . More importantly I won't have to marry that detestable Wang Mo Ri . If my father thinks an alliance with the Wang family is so beneficial he can marry him then. I'd much rather travel with this handsome fellow , someone as innately talented as him wont be bound to this land .' Thinking of the road ahead Bai Yang couldn't help but smile.
