Chapter 8: Roaring Winds

Jin's POV

"Eva fall back! We can't damage her!" I shouted.

"Damn it! That bird!" Eva cursed. We're on a middle of a dungeon right now and we're battling the Queen of Harpies.

That's it? No weaknesses or lore? Ok, fine. We need to find a way to beat it.

"I can't hold her anymore!" Jane shouted and got knocked back. Helen Hurricane broke out from her Cube.

"Xandra, Ara go!" Kyan shouted. Ara the wind fairy was creating wind scythes to attack, while Xandra is using fire balls. Still, no damage.

"Maybe if I can use Lion's Pride, I can beat her" I said.

"Ok we'll try that, we'll buy you some time" Kyan said.

"Terra, Nymphia, Xandra and Ara. The four elements, attack that bird!" All of Kyan's fairies are fighting Helen but they don't even leave a scratch. Helen just blew Kyan ang his fairies with a gust of wind.

Jane and Eva combined their attacks.

Even if they combine their attacks, they can't still make a scratch to the Harpy Queen. Helen viciously flapped her wings causing Eva and Jane to get blown backwards.

"Jane!" Mark shouted.

"Eva!" I added.

"We're ok" Jane replied.

"Watch out!" Eva shouted.

Helen headbutted me, a move I never expected. The strike sent me to where Jane and Eva were.

"Kyan, let's use our special moves. We can't defeat her with normal spells" Mark said.

"You're right. On it" Kyan replied.

[Tank used Force Combat: Sealing Chains]

[Scout used Fairy Fusion: King Roldan of Ygdrassil]

Chains came sprouting from Mark's body, the chains seized Helen Hurricane and then they vanished. The fairies also vanished, Kyan was shining, after that Kyan changed. Kyan now has wings.

These two are powerful.

Too many spells, can she withstand this? This will exhaust her body for sure.

"Now bird, let's do this!" Mark shouted dashed at Helen. Mark takes all Helen's attacks while Kyan attacked Helen with the 4 basic elements.

Is this the power of Spectre? They already have special moves and their fighting styles are more efficient. I guess experience really is the best teacher.

"Sh*t, I'm running out of mana" Kyan cursed.

"I can't hold this anymore, any minute my buffs will vanish" Jane added.

"I'm still holding up, but I don't know for how long" Mark said. Even they can't defeat that Harpy. How can I?

"How did we-" Mark said in shock.

"This is impossible. Yes, she's the boss but, to level up this fast" Jane added.

"Yeah it is. The others are training for hundreds of hours and can't even level up twice, and we just rocketed" Kyan said.

"Speaking of, it's still our second day and I'm on level 20" Eva said.

Is it really weird? Come to think of it. When I acquired Ive, I'm still on level 1 and now I'm on level 28.
