Final judgement

The EYES OF THE GODS suddenly opened his eyes, as they started to shine with white brilliance, while his expression inferred how difficult the spell was, even still the process was repeated.

"Mighty gods of our land, please forgive your servant for his greed…"

For some reason, there was no strange change to the rusty iron sword that the boy had found. It was docilely still, as all sorts of spells were used on it.

Meanwhile, a group of steel knights carefully escorted the EYES OF THE GODS, before arriving at the altar in the village.

"This child's soul has already been engulfed by the power of the foreign artifact…"

The EYES OF THE GODS sighed, as he stood before the altar, and stated his final judgment on Levi.

"Burn him to death!"

"Burn him alive!"

"Burn the freaking ba*tard alive!"

Levi had just barely opened his eyes, when he heard the loud voices of the villagers, howling and cheering for him to be burnt, their palpable howling in spite and hate, made him momentarily doubt if he was the one they were referring to.

Such a zealous atmosphere, coupled with the large difference from what Levi once knew, made him recoil as his heart kept squeezing in vice, and soon tears were slowly brimming down his eyes.

In his line of sight, he stared as his family was slowly being bound by the infuriated villagers on wooden crosses that had been roughly made right on the spot.

Levi could barely move but he had a very bad feeling of what was going to happen so he forced himself on the ground to plead.

"No! Please forgive them. I… I did nothing wrong! I only brought a rusty sword back. I'm willing to repent for that!"

Levi kept on wailing as he pleaded, to anyone willing to listen slowly his voice became hoarse, while his eyes became blurry from crying too much,

"For the sake of the gods of our land', you can punish me, but please let my family go!"

"The family of an evil child must also be cleansed!"

In return for his pleading was answered by the EYES OF THE GOD frigid voice.

Immediately he finished those words, amid the large amounts of burning flames and the blood-curdling cries of every single member of his family children, Levi lost his consciousness from both bawl his eyes out and excruciating headaches.

"Mighty gods, your servant ask that you arise…"

With the setting of the child family on fire at the stake, the EYES OF THE GODS began to dance in front of the altar, in earnest with the other teenagers and middle-aged men.

As for the Main culprit Levi, land the rusty sword were both left on the ground momentarily, since the foreign artifact had possessed him he was left with the intention to be personally dealt with by the gods themselves.

"Hm… So this is it...the end? For my sweet little friend? oh, I miss the moments we spent passionately together. Adieu my Levi, even though the moments we spent were very short, nevertheless it was filled with love, delight, joy, and most of all euphoria!"

The dark figure, slowly reminisced as his eyes tearfully watch the ongoing tragic drama interestingly,

"How hateful, these holy saints can be. Killing my dearest friend family, before my very eyes to spread fanatic behavior among these people and at the same time torturing my dear…"

The figure calmly analyzed, with an undecided emotionalism.

In its current state, he could have stopped it basically without a single resistance at all. But it's didn't and couldn't, that was not his mission but yet he felt pity to intervene, and perhaps as long as everything goes well, nothing else matters.

Through this period of painful observation, the details on the surface of the pact must be strict showing how the saints were handling such in front of it. It clearly knew the humans, and sometimes it's would even often wonder if the ruthlessness between its kind and the holy saints were compared who would have triumph between them?

The silhouette silently observed as he could clearly sense the strength and powers of the EYES OF THE GODS and followers

Though this way was very similar to his world, there were still differences.

The number of people here was obviously mixed low blood.

Furthermore, there were differences with the trade of equivalent exchange of the pact of what its high ups were doing.

The people here were all bottom levels of the saints and were just classified as servants of the high ups and it's was sure they had very low status.

This situation aroused its interest, urging it's to intervene.

It's slowly watched the EYES OF THE GODS that had begun to open a portal gate away, the feeling of an existence of a higher form descending began to silently unveil in the area.

"Dear Levi, our ways part here. But I shall leave you a parting gift."

After making its decision, it's finally shifted its sight and then placed its focus on Levi.

The dark figure, whose body was merged in the shadows rub both its hands together, its mission was to remain hidden it had no reason to show itself anyways. And it needed some sort of medium to act.

Come to think of it, even though Levi should work perfectly and be rather suitable. What kind of gifts, should he give his darling friend?

With the unending blood-curdling screams, blood, and blazing fire everywhere.
