Unwanted Guest

Ginjo takes a seat on the black couch and tries to relax. He closes his eyes and tries to catch up on some sleep, but Tatsuki enters the apartment. Tatsuki walks up to him and shakes him, stopping him from dozing off.

"Tatsuki, what do you want?" asked Ginjo.

"Tsukishima attacked my friend. I want to know everything about him," said Tatsuki.

"I told you practically everything I know about that guy. I'm not hiding anything," said Ginjo.

"Tsukishima can place himself in people's memories, but it seems that Orihime has a hard time remembering anything. Does he have any special abilities?" said Tatsuki.

"Fullbrings don't have special abilities. You get an ability and that's that," said Ginjo.

"Chad's Fullbring changed many times. Maybe Tsukishima can do that, too," said Tatsuki.

"Chad's Fullbring kept on changing because it wasn't fully matured. Do you know how long we have been living with our Fullbrings? We passed that stage a long time ago," said Ginjo.

"How was he able to do that then?" asked Tatsuki.

"I don't know. Maybe his Fullbring can just do that, too. He could've been hiding secrets from me. He is a psychopath at the end of the day," said Ginjo.

"I don't buy it. There has to be something going on," said Tatsuki.

"Your friend, Uryu, got cut by Tsukishima. Does he have confusing memories?" said Ginjo.

"No," said Tatsuki.

"Then, you should go check it out. Maybe Tsukishima wasn't the one who cut Orihime," said Ginjo.

"There's no need. I did it," said Tsukishima.

Tatsuki and Ginjo hear Tsukishima's voice and immediately stop talking. Everyone in the apartment stares at the psychopath that stands in the doorway where the door used to be.

"Tsukishima," said Ginjo.

"It's been a while, Ginjo. I haven't seen you guys in a while. Kutsuzawa, it looks like you have stopped drinking. Yukio, it looks like you still play a lot of video games. That's not good. You need to start reading books," said Tsukishima.

"Tsukishima, what are you doing here?" asked Ginjo.

"Riruka and Jackie aren't here," said Tsukishima.

"Tsukishima, answer me," said Ginjo.

Tsukishima walks towards the fish tank.

"I wonder if they're in here," said Tsukishima.

"Tsukishima, wait!" exclaimed Ginjo.

Before Tsukishima can destroy the fish tank, it explodes and Jackie flies out of it. Kuroi stands on the table where the fish tank used to be. He is now wearing a shihakusho that seems to be made out of black flame. His right hand becomes a blade similar to his Zanpakuto.

"Kuroi, is that your Fullbring?" thought Ginjo.

"Did you know that if you break the receptacle, the people inside are forcibly ejected? I can't believe that you were training in something like that. I didn't know that your Fullbring progressed this far. I wished someone told me," said Tsukishima.

Instead of continuing the conversation, Tsukishima clashes blades with Kuroi.

"You're going to pay for hurting Senna," said Kuroi.

"Can you beat me without your shinigami powers?" asked Tsukishima.

"We'll just see," said Kuroi.

Instead of allowing Kuroi and Tsukishima to fight, Tatsuki activates her Fullbring and jumps in.

"Wait, Tatsuki!" exclaimed Kuroi.

Tatsuki doesn't listen and punches Tsukishima in the stomach, sending him flying through the wall.

"Why did you interfere? Now the public knows something is going on," said Kuroi.

"He hurt my friend. He needs to feel pain," said Tatsuki.

"I'll deal with the local fire and police departments," said Kutsuzawa.

"I'm going after Tsukishima," said Tatsuki.

"No, you have already caused enough damage. Kuroi can handle it," said Ginjo.

"But, he doesn't have full control over his Fullbring," said Tatsuki.

"Relax, Tatsuki. I can handle him," said Kuroi.

Kuroi jumps through the giant wall and lands on the neighboring apartment building's rooftop. Tsukishima appears on the rooftop a few seconds later.

"You hurt Uryu and Senna. I don't know what you did to Orihime, but you'll pay for that, too," said Kuroi.

"Will I? I don't think you're strong enough," said Tsukishima.

"I'll show you how strong my Fullbring is!" exclaimed Kuroi.

Kuroi darts towards Tsukishima and their blades clash, causing a small shockwave.

"Interesting. You are strong, but your Fullbring is still utterly incomplete," said Tsukishima.

Tsukishima jumps back and clashes with Kuroi's Fullbring once again and some of it disappears.

"You're on the road to mastering your Fullbring, but at this point, you don't stand a chance," said Tsukishima.

Tsukishima speed blitzes Kuroi and kicks him in the chest, nearly sending him flying off the rooftop. He then appears in front of Kuroi and tries to land the finishing blow, but Ginjo appears in front of him and blocks the strike.

"It seems that it's too early to let you fight Kuroi," said Ginjo.

"Are you going to interfere, Ginjo?" asked Tsukishima.

"I guess that we don't see eye-to-eye in this situation. You're the one interfering," said Ginjo.

"Get outta my way. I can handle him," said Kuroi.

"No can do," said Ginjo.

"Listen to me. I don't need any help," said Kuroi.

Ginjo responds by elbowing Kuroi on the back of his neck.

"Don't you get it? You'll just get in my way. You don't have your badge, so you can't become a soul reaper right now, You don't stand a chance with just your incomplete Fullbring. I can't have you dying here, so stay there and shut up," said Ginjo.

"Are you going to do this? If we fight, you will die," said Tsukishima.

"If we do, you'll be the one who ends up dead," said Ginjo.

"It just seems that we can't agree on anything," said Tsukishima.

Ginjo and Tsukishima dart towards each other and clash blades. Kuroi stands up and tries to jump into the fight, but Tatsuki places her hand on his shoulder.

"Tatsuki," said Kuroi.

"Just give it up, Kuroi. You can't beat him in this state," said Tatsuki.

"Are you telling me to just sit here and give up? He hurt Senna and Uryu and you just want me to sit here and watch other people fight my battles. Let go," said Kuroi.

Kuroi breaks out of Tatsuki's grasp and runs towards Ginjo and Tsukishima's fight.

"Kuroi, wait!" exclaimed Tatsuki.

Kuroi doesn't wait and continues to run towards the fight. Ginjo jumps into the air and launches a charged-up attack at Tsukishima. Tsukishima dodges the attack, but he still takes damage.

"That was close. What would happen if you carved a hole in a building full of people?" said Tsukishima.

"Don't worry. I'm jumping to abandoned buildings only," said Ginjo.

Before they can continue talking, Kuroi appears above Tsukishima and tries to slash him, but Tsukishima easily blocks the sneak attack with his blade.

"You still don't get it, do you? Your Fullbring is still-," said Tsukishima.

"Before Tsukishima can finish speaking, Kuroi's Fullbring expands and starts to destroy the roof. Tsukishima jumps away to avoid taking damage.

"You are recovering the power that you once had when you fought Aizen, but you're not at that level yet," said Tsukishima.

"Invaders Must Die," said Yukio.

Yukio's Fullbring activates and he traps Kuroi in an alternate dimension. Kuroi notices that he is no longer on the rooftop and quickly gets up.

"Where the hell am I? Yukio, let me out!" said Kuroi.

Kuroi gets no response and stays in the all-black dimension all alone. He walks around, but it seems that the dimension spans an infinite amount of space. He continues to walk around until the all-black dimension starts to evaporate. The Fullbring disappears and he falls face-first on a building's floor.

"Ok. Load complete," said Yukio.

"Where am I?" asked Kuroi.

"Our backup hideout. It's not comfortable, but it works," said Ginjo.

"Where's Tsukishima?" asked Kuroi.

"He withdrew for now," said Ginjo.

"He didn't want to kill us. If he did, he would have tried harder," said Kuroi.

"You're right. He was only interested in you. If he is, you need to get stronger. Yukio, help him with his training," said Ginjo.

"Why me? How can I help?" asked Yukio.

"Tsukishima most likely found our hideout by sensing Kuroi's spiritual pressure. We can use your Fullbring to stop that from happening. You can do that right?" said Ginjo.

"But, my gamepad is about to die," said Yukio.

"Do it while it's charged," said Ginjo.

"Fine," said Yukio.

"I beat Jackie and that Mr. Pork guy. Who am I going to fight next?" said Kuroi.

"Me," said Ginjo.

"So, I'm moving on to the leader already? I guess I'm stronger than I think," said Kuroi.

"Don't get cocky. I won't go easy on you just because it's training. I will go for the kill," said Ginjo.

"So, Yukio will use his Fullbring to trap us in that black dimension, so we can train in peace. That's not a good idea," said Kuroi.

"What are you saying?" asked Ginjo.

"My Fullbring evolved while I was training with Jackie. If it does again, it may cause a bigger explosion," said Kuroi.

"I can take it. I am the strongest one here," said Ginjo.

"You won't be for long," said Kuroi.

"Yukio, activate your Fullbring. We're ready," said Ginjo.

Yukio taps the start button and activates his Fullbring. Ginjo and Kuroi are trapped in the black pixel dimension.

"So, we're stuck in a video game," said Kuroi.

"Yeah, but it's just an infinite void of darkness. Do you want to know the rules?" said Ginjo.

"I think that I already know them," said Kuroi.

"Yukio, give us both six life gauges," said Ginjo.

Yukio clicks a button and six pluses appear on the wall of the void.

"So, those are lives. If I run out, I die. You are going for the kill, huh?" said Kuroi.

"You are a smart kid, so let's get started," said Ginjo.

Ginjo and Kuroi activate their Fullbrings and charge at each other. Ten minutes pass before they hear Yukio's voice.

"Ginjo, we have a visitor. I'm sending her in," said Yukio.

"Why?" asked Ginjo.

"She wants to heal Kuroi if he gets hurt," said Yukio.

"How did Orihime find us?" asked Kuroi.

"Tatsuki brought her over. If Tatsuki trusts her, I guess we can. She's going in now," said Yukio.

A hole appears on the roof of the void an Orihime falls in. Orihime quickly gets up when she sees Ginjo looking at her.

"Oh, a healing item," said Ginjo.

"It's nice to meet you. My name's Orihime Inoue," said Orihime.

"There's no need for pleasantries. You arrived at the perfect time. Go ahead and heal him," said Ginjo.

"Kuroi!" exclaimed Orihime.

Orihime runs towards the injured Kuroi. She uses Santen Kesshun to start healing her injured friend.

"Thanks, but I don't need help," said Kuroi.

"But, you're bleeding," said Orihime.

"Losing a little blood is nothing. I'm fine," said Kuroi.

"Shut up and let your friend heal you. You need to be at full strength if you want to make it out of here alive," said Ginjo.

"Fine. Just make it quick," said Kuroi.

Ten minutes pass and Kuroi is still being healed.

"Is he healed up yet?" asked Ginjo.

"Give me a few more minutes, please. He'll be ready then," said Orihime.

"Sorry, can't do that. Kuroi, are you ready?" said Ginjo.

"Yeah," said Kuroi.

"Here I come!" exclaimed Ginjo.

Ginjo rockets towards Orihime and Kuroi. Instead of allowing Kuroi to hop back into the battle, Orihime creates a shield to block the attack.

"Orihime, what are you doing?" asked Kuroi.

"Protecting you," said Orihime.

"I don't need protection. We're just training," said Kuroi.

"You're hurt and if you continue to fight injured, you will get hurt some more. I won't let that happen," said Orihime.

"Do you think that Santen Kesshun will be strong enough to block my Cross of Scaffold!" exclaimed Ginjo.

"You're wrong," said Orihime.

"Like hell I am!" exclaimed Ginjo.

Ginjo raises his Fullbring over his head and slams it down on the shield, but it doesn't break and blows Ginjo away.

"Shiten Koshun explodes outward, dissipating the force of the blow. At the same time, it also counters the blow," said Orihime.

"Exploding armor, huh? That's not subtle," said Ginjo.

"I don't care for subtlety. Don't attack Kuroi until I tell you that you can," said Orihime.

"Fine. Just speed it up," said Ginjo.

"Orihime, when did you learn that?" asked Kuroi.

"You have been distancing yourself from us since you beat Aizen. We got strong enough to defend ourselves, so you don't have to protect us all. You don't have to worry about me. Just focus on mastering your Fullbring," said Orihime.

"Thanks, Orihime. I won't let you down," said Kuroi.

Kuroi stands up and walks towards Ginjo.

"Should we finish this, Ginjo?" asked Kuroi.

"Sure," said Ginjo.
