A strange place

After me and Xiayen swam down, the strange thing that we came to discover, was that we were actually swimming up instead of downwards.

Such a strange thing was already obvious to us after we had passed half the depth of the water, because after we had passed it, the resistance that made it difficult for us to swim down, changed, as it pushed us inwards instead of pushing us outwards. In fact, when we were swimming our way down further, we came to realize that the pressure had never been pushing us inwards, but out towards another surface instead. That's right... Another water surface…

You see... At first, after I met with the surface when I was clearly swimming straight down, I thought I had lost my way due to the pressure of the water.

I mean… The place was dark and the pressure inside the water was quite strong. Obviously, I would be fast to assume that I had accidentally swam upwards on my way down. Such an accident can happen on many occasions, so, it wasn't wrong for me to make such an assumption. After all, I wasn't a person who had spent his life in a magical world, so, things like swimming downwards only to end up upwards, was definitely not something that I would have already expected.

Thankfully, such an ignorance of mine is one of the main reasons why I had decided to bring Xiayen along with me.

Sure, I know that I could have allocated some of my PP points to get better vision in order to see where I was at, however, even with a perfect vision, I still would've gotten lost and confused after swimming down to another water surface. Surely, it would have taken me at least a few minutes to understand that it was the work of some kind of magic.

Indeed, it is all thanks to Xiayen that I knew that something as magical as gravity manipulation or whatever it was, is possible.

After we had found the different area above the water, Xiayen guided me again with her voice and the touch of her hand. The reason why Xiayen needed to guide me again, was because the new area was also a very dark place that didn't have any source of lights.

"Oh, there is a inscription device there." Xiayen said after we made it to ground. I didn't even have the chance to stop and take a breath, because the moment we stood on ground, Xiayen dragged me with her towards the thing that she called an inscription device.

Because of the dark, I didn't know what was going on, but, I'm pretty sure Xiayen just said something like "Oh, it's a button".

Based on the knowledge that I had gotten from the modern earth, I became terrified the moment she said that there was a button. That's because people are always tempted to press buttons, and because something messed up always tends to happen after they press it.

"Wai-!"

"Oh…" I was about to stop Xiayen from pressing the button, however, after she had pressed the button, I realized that I was simply being too paranoid. How could I also forget that Xiayen wasn't someone stupid. Obviously, she wouldn't have done something as stupid as being a problem magnet.

Right?

Hmm…

The place finally had some lighting after Xiayen had pressed the button, and as a result of the place having light, I was finally able to see everything around me.

Looking around me, I noticed that I was actually in some sort of cave, which was lighted by bright symbols that were engraved on the walls. Symbols that looked like 4, S, 7i]\, and E|3, they were all around me… They weren't too bright for my eyes to get blinded, however, they were still able to brighten up the place perfectly, thanks to their quantity.

"There. A tunnel..." Xiayen pointed her fingers towards a tunnel that could fit three people, before dragging me with her again.

Damn, I was feeling quite useless. Still, I mean like, it didn't feel so bad getting dragged by her. It felt quite mommy material honestly.

It was with those words that I just said, when I focused at the figure of Xiayen in front of me. Looking at her figure, I believed that she was too small for me to see the situation like that. She wasn't mommy material, but more like a little sister that was dragging her brother to show him her sand castle...

*Sigh…*

"What are you sighing for?" I forgot that Xiayen could hear me sigh. As a result of my forgetfulness, I didn't think that she would've questioned the reason for me sighing. Why did she even question me though?

Oh, right…

She's an empath, isn't she…

*Sigh*

"Quit sighing, will you!"

"I'm sorry, I can't help it. I have the Cho Con disease." I simply told her while feigning some coughs.

"What's Cho Con? I've never hea-"

"Cho Con deez nuts!" I screamed out loud before she was even able to finish whatever she was trying to say.

Hahaha! In this world I was indeed invincible! Sure, the technology in this world might be more advance, however, a lot of cultural aspects from earth were missing! Ha! This world really needs to Cho Con deez nuts since they don't know about it yet!

*Sigh* "Here we go again… You and your weird way with words and humor. Was there a fault when you were born perhaps? I've never heard anyone commit to such weird jokes, honestly…" Was what Xiayen said to me as a reply to my ligma variant kind of joke.

'Oh my…' I thought, a bit disappointed after hearing her words.

'So boring…'

'Did she just say that I'm a retard as well?'

'Damn…'
