Chapter 04: A simple talk

As soon as William finished gathering the magic in his body he felt the fatigue, he had used his mind's eye many times in a short period of time and gathering magic from the surroundings to awaken his own magic was basically an act beyond expectations, there were no records of other mages doing something similar but William didn't care about that, much less did he care about his tiredness after all he had achieved it, he had finally obtained the most important characteristic in this world, magic.

He didn't want to say that he was a full-fledged magician but he was already one step closer, he was at the starting line just like all the characters of the original work, not to mention that he was in the same era as the golden trio and all the important events.

William had no interest in fighting against Voldemort and his vassals but rather wanted to know the world, after living in the normal world for practically two decades he was now in a fantasy world, he wanted to discover and know everything, William was excited and how could he not be, he was on the first step of the ladder of dreams.

The eyes betrayed William's happiness and finally closed showing that the young wizard lost consciousness flooded by the dream of his future.

Time followed its flow and finally morning came, William's body and mind had returned to the optimal state, the first thing the boy did was to check the magic inside him and for that he did a basic exercise according to his mind.

First he extended the mind's eye area and pointed to a glass on the desk using the magic inside him levitated it slightly, it was not a high level spell but it was necessary for him to convince himself that he now had magic and everything that had happened before was not a dream.

It was at that moment that the house elf Vorona appeared in the room with a frightened expression, she was trembling and looked at William slightly.

"Vorona" William cried at the sight of the house elf.

"Young master, I bring bad news, terrible news, Vorona tried not to let her experiments leak out, she really tried not to let her actions attract attention but..."

"But?" asked William with a bit of fear.

"Lord Rosier wants to see you young master, he wants you to come to his chambers, he told Verona young master" Verona speaks in a low voice and covered her fearful face as she backed away in small steps.

William saw Verona act and sighed looking up at the ceiling mentally preparing himself to see the owner of the castle and his own grandfather, it would be the first time he saw him since he reincarnated but something told him it had to do with his awakening in magic, which would be bad news.

Without saying anything to Verona he headed towards Lord Rosier's office, it was not difficult to reach the place and when he opened the door there was the old man in his seat, of course even when William called him old man because of the difference in generations his appearance was not at all that of an old man, Lord Rosier was at most sixty years old but his exterior was like someone in his forties.

William paused at the door for a moment when he heard the voice from inside "Come in."

The door opened slowly revealing the figure of the boy and on the other side Lord Rosier looking at his papers "Grandfather-"

"You don't need to say anything, you wouldn't understand anyway" Lord Rosier held up a letter from among his papers "it seems I was wrong about your fate, if Hogwarts wrote you a letter it means they sensed your magic and that would explain your actions these days."

"A magic school?" asked William surprised without taking his eyes off the letter.

"Surprised?" asked Lord Rosier looking at his grandson "I was too after all squibs can't enter Hogwarts, but I sense magic all around you. I don't need explanations, this is the best possible outcome. The Rosier family has a great legacy and it cannot be interrupted, everyone in the main branch must be worthy of the family name"

"I understand" William couldn't say much but he was really surprised by the letter, his magic and his grandfather's attitude which didn't seem to be that bad or good maybe he was also glad because he wasn't a squib, William couldn't know everything.

"I would like to teach you everything you need before you enter Hogwarts but time is not enough, you can choose books from the library and you should prepare as best as you can before you leave. Tomorrow we will go and get everything you need to start your schooling, you can go" lord Rosier waved his hand for William to leave him alone and he himself silently disappeared, once outside he couldn't help but make a victory pose.
