Chapter 7 Clash of Diamond and Blood
"She ran away. I didn't get to ask her for directions. And those large mountains were tempting me to squeeze them a little. No no no, I as a perfect gentleman should stay away from such temptation." He muttered as he placed his right hand to his chin and thoughtfully looked in the direction she had vanished to.
---------
"That big breasted bitch!!!. She actually had the guts to try and seduce him? I should teach her a lesson." Phoenix complained as her eyes widened and her face flushed with rage upon seeing the scene of Damien stumbling into Dark Phoenix. She stood up and started pacing around her throne her rage continuously climbing causing her body to ignite in golden flames. Silver was nowhere to be seen as she had sent her down to the city for some errands to get time to spy on Damien privately.
-----------
Damien continued to walk along the cobbled path but the cute golden flame creatures had become ferocious and while harmless, he wondered how powerful they could be if the owner decided to attack him.
'I will try to head in the direction of the tallest palace.' He thought as he looked over the surrounding buildings and saw the the tallest. He picked a path which would take him nearer and he started walking upon it.
After a few turns, he caught sight of the majestic golden palatial gates of the grandest building in the place. They were curved with dancing phoenixes but they were currently closed.
"Why aren't you entering?" A sweet voice came from behind him. It was full of dissatisfaction and disgust.
He turned around and caught sight of the silver haired beautiful clad in silver office attire. Her beautiful silver eyes were narrowed as she looked at him.
"I don't know what to do in this kind of situation. Should I wait or knock?" Damien asked as he embarrassedly rubbed his bald head but stopped mid rub as he felt its emptiness. His embarrassed expression morphed into one of dissatisfaction upon feeling no hair. He lowered his hand as he gave the silver haired girl a once over. He remembered her as one of those people in the entourage of that little girl goddess.
"I need my hair back. Where is that little girl goddess?" He asked the silver haired girl bluntly and even though the glasses covered his eyes, a red glow from his pupils had started to penetrate through as he pressured her with his gaze.
"Am a god and you are just a demigod. You should remember that I can kill you instantly." She said as invisible sparks formed between them as they both narrowed their eyes dangerously at each other.
"Tell me little girl. I do know you people of Pantheon don't have combat experience. Even though you are a god, I'd still battle you." He said as the red glow increased. Blood red sparks started rising from his body. He was prepared to enter his blood burning state as gods whether having combat experience or not were still powerful.
"It seems like the owner of this place won't allow us to kill each other. I don't fight sparring battles. All my techniques are for killing." He said as his hands which had been hanging by the sides of his body entered his pockets and he turned back to stare at the gate.
'Those cute flames seemed to posses more intricacy than the pressure this woman was releasing. It seems the owner of this place is stronger. I need to be careful.' Damien thought as he continued to stare at the gates. The issue with silver haired girl had completely vanished from his head.
Silver gritted her teeth as she was frustrated. She stamped her foot on the ground and glared at Damien's back resentfully. She knew full well that the moment she attacked, she might be killed by the god queen as this man was favoured by her.
Silver composed herself as she suppressed her anger. She regained her calm and walked around Damien to push open the gates. The opened with a creak and Damien was greeted with a building which looked like the Greek temples in Earth's folklore. Gigantic golden pillars were holding up a golden roof. He didn't know what materials they were made from but it seemed that they had existed for a long time.
The sound of Silver's heels striking the golden floor woke him from his shock and he proceeded to follow her into climbing the stairs into the temple.
"You should smile more not to get wrinkles." He suggested as his eyes roamed her back side.
'Her curves are barely passable for her to join my future goddess harem.' He thought.
"One more word from you and I will attack." She said through gritted teeth without turning her face backwards.
"Attack. It would be interesting to fight you. If I win, the consequences for you will be bad." He said as he once again removed his hands from his pockets. His body entered a vigilant state.
"Let me teach you a little lesson. Dust!" She said as she turned around upon which glittering dust was released from her body instantaneously appearing in front of him.
His body ignited in blood red flames as his body was pushed beyond his physical limits. Everything slowed down even the dust. He saw that it was made up of tiny diamonds. He didn't dare touch it as he ran around it to the back of Silver.
'This bitch must pay for attacking the great I.' He thought at lightning speed as he cane up with a great idea. His hands spread out from behind her as he tried to give her a hug. His face was curved with a smirk as he imagined the struggling of the beauty when she entered his arms.
An overwhelming sense of danger invaded his mind at this time causing his expression to drastically change into one of terror but he reacted too late.
Diamond dust was releases with Silver's body as the center and coated his enture form. It grew around his body upon which he was turned into a diamond sculpture.
Damien felt as if he was cut off from the outside. The golden dust was rewriting his blood strings and turning him gradually into solid diamond. He was in so much pain but he couldn't scream as he was in a frozen state.
"Pathetic weakling overestimating himself." Silver muttered as she turned around and stared at the Damien diamond sculpture.
'Suffer a little and feel what I felt that day.' She thought as she used her right hand to move a strand of her silver hair behind her ear.
Golden flames abruptly ignited beneath the sculpture upon which the diamond dust coating Damien vanished. They spread to coat his entire body and healed his injuries. His red suit and glasses were also restored to their previous states.
Damien raised his right hand, removed the glasses and his blood red eyes narrowed as they dangerously glared at Silver who glared back.
'The god queen acted faster. It means he holds a more important position in her mind.' She thought furiously as her face reddened and she gritted her teeth. Tears threatened to fall from her eyes as she hatefully glared at Damien.
"Your tears won't be enough to sate my rage silver bitch." He said while glaring down at her since he had the higher ground.
---------
"Dark Phoenix, why did you try to seduce my possession."
Phoenix was currently glaring at Dark Phoenix atop her throne imperiously. He entire body was clad in a golden long gown. She had created it with her flames.bit had a high collar and looked like it was made out of feathers. It dropped down and covered the full length of her figure leaving her little toes peaking at its front. It was a manifestation of her duo divinities, 'Nirvirnic flames and golden feathers'. Having two divinities was the symbol of a god king/queen.
"I didn't even know he existed until I bumped into him. People aren't meant to be possessed. You still haven't grown yet? Why do you still act like a little girl? You need to manage this city. Petty jealousy won't get you anywhere." Dark Phoenix who was standing beneath the throne said as her eyes narrowed dangerously. Dark flames capable of swallowing all light were also coating her magnificent form.
Phoenix's face reddened from the rage she felt but she couldn't attack Dark Phoenix as geezer Nightmare had entrusted her to look after her.
Two pressures appeared within their senses from the outside as they were at each other's throats. Phoenix still in her regal looking gown took a step and abruptly appeared atop the temple floor's edge upon which she gazed downwards to see two figures, one clad in blood red flames and the other having her body glittering in diamond glaring at each other.
------------
Piercing red pupils were locked in contention with glittering diamond pupils.
Silver's entire body had turned into a glittering diamond with diamond dust swirling around it as she glared at Damien, who was clad in blood red flames.
"A gentleman's suit is his weapon." He said as he placed his glasses within his blazer's pocket and pulled on his tie. He removed it upon which it straightened and turned into a sword. The collar of his red shirt was left unbuttoned.
"Now, silver haired girl, let's do the tangle." He declared.
