Chapter 41: The Search for Aiden

As soon as Bennett was up and on his feet. He instructed Dana to find his brother, Aiden. He’d been at the house before the whole battle started. He’d not shifted as the others who could had done.

When Monica left, she left alone. Bennett needed to know where his brother was. Dana had to find him.

“Don’t worry.” Stella soothed. “Dana will find him.”

“He’s unprotected. It isn’t safe for him out there.” Bennett said his brow furrowed with a worried expression.

“Isn’t he a shifter too?” Stella asked. Dana had told her how she had a human parent. That children of both human and shifter bonds sometimes could shift, sometimes could not. Unless they joined a pack. But it was clear that Bennett’s father thought very little of humans, it was hard to imagine that Aiden’s mother would be a human woman.

Bennett nodded, running a hand through his hair. His steely blue eyes filled with worry. “He’s young.” He explained. “Too young to protect himself without his pack.”
