Dana crashed through the door, pulling a wounded Aiden behind her. The young man groaned. He was covered in blood. More and more by the second.
They were all at Stella’s house. Rushing to the door, Stella ran into the frenzy of it all.
Bennett began to wake up. He’d been recovering from his injuries as a shifter does, resting on Stella’s couch instead of in the emergency room.
The two women tucked Aiden into a chair. He was bleeding through an artery. Stella could tell by the way it gushed in a rhythm to his heart.
“This is bad.” She gasped at Dana.
The shifter nodded. Her mouth grim. “I got to him just in time.”
Stella’s worried eyes scanned over her friend. “Are you all right?” She asked quickly. Putting firm pressure over Aiden’s deep wound. Wishing she knew what to do.
“We should take him to the hospital.” She advised.
“It’s fine.” She said. “Shifters heal fast. We just have to keep pressure on it, hope that stops the bleeding.”
