Surpising Sean

Not only was Sean’s scent keeping her awake, but also the memory of her impetuousness last night. What was she thinking? This couldn’t be anything long term. She shrugged to herself, trying to rationalize that she couldn’t change anything by worrying about it.

She finally found a robe and wrapped herself in it. Turning on the television in the living room, she settled on a futon and surfed channels for the next hour. After another beer and another hour of mindless shows, she felt sleepy enough to crawl back into his bed.

Sleep, thankfully, came quickly, but not without some erotic dreams about a certain Irish Detective. The front door opening woke her, but she didn’t get up to see who it was.

Having already made her decision, she waited in the dark.
