Kai: [You know what will happen if you refuse just accept defeat. I'd hate to kill off one of my favorite Titans due to pure stubbornness.]
With my three heads I gazed down on the exhausted and wounded Titan ready for either answer. As I was starting to think he'd keep fighting, he leveled out his wings and bowed his head in the gap between them, like he did in the movies.
Kai: [It seems I have a right-hand Titan, or wing in this case. And on top of that Rodan should be able to hold his own…if he doesn't take five minutes to deal the finishing blow like with Mothra in King of the Monsters. I wonder… can we actually communicate?]
If anyone was close to the two Titans to witness their battle from start to finish, they'd see the victor let out a series of small grunts and screeches in what seemed like an attempt at communication with his opponent. In which the loser responded with his own series or screeches and growls.
Rodan: "I can understand you sir. How can I serve you?"
Kai: "Great! To start, don't keep referring to me as sir, rather you should refer to me as sire. Now tell me about the surrounding area."
Rodan: "Yes sire. All of the volcanic lands were my territory and I was it's only ruler…until you defeated me sire now it is yours."
Kai: "Do you know of anymore of our kind close to the volcanic domain? And if you do would you happen to know their abilities?"
Rodan: "I only know of one sire and that's because she resides just south of your territory in a large system of caves full of vegetation. She goes by the name of Battra. And as far as her powers are concerned I haven't fought her yet so I wouldn't know."
Kai: "I see, well then here's your first mission. Fly around the edge of the volcanic domain until you're directly South of Battra's territory then steer her in my direction."
Rodan: "Yes sire. If I may ask, why do you not just have me dispose of her?"
Kai: "Because…I need an army!"
After the two creatures conversation Rodan took off flying to the Southeast of the Volcanic region which spanned a quarter of the northern continent. Until he placed himself in position to steer his master's quarry North.
Rodan: "There's the cave. Now let's see how long you last against sire!"
RUUUUAAAAAHHHHHH
SSSCCRREEEEEEEEEEE
As Rodan approached the cave a dark colored creature flew out of the opening intent on defending its home from her closest competition.
However, before she could engage her enemy he rose into the clouds and out of sight. Not wanting her foe to hold the high ground she followed him through the clouds.
Battra: [What?! Where'd he go?]
As Battra emerged from beneath the clouds she saw nothing but open sky and began to look around for her target. But as soon as she turned around to examine her surroundings an even larger figure than her target broke through the clouds.
SSSKKRREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
Battra whipped her body back where the roar came from to come face to face with her newest threat. In all honesty, she probably preferred Rodanwhen compared to the larger three headed Titan that was before her now.
SSCCRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
As Battra returned the gesture both Titans made their move and flew towards each other, one leading with three dangerous heads and the other leading with extremely sharp legs wielding them as if they were each their own sword.
As they were about to collide Battra dipped and dodged around each head and used her legs to leave a long gash along her opponent's body. Her opponent cried out for the short moment of pain as she flew past his body…only to be hit in the side by a heavy tail and sent spiraling for a few seconds.
As she was leveling out she felt three different pressures on her body. Two on her wings and the third being on the back of her neck. Two of the heads seemed to only be used to grip her and keep her still since they weren't doing significant damage, while the other head was beginning to draw blood and cries of pain.
Even though her opponent had the perfect chance to deal crippling damage and possibly even kill her he released his grip with his two heads on her wings while the one on the back of her neck was used to throw her away.
As she leveled out and turned back to her opponent she saw the three different heads rear back and unleash a small stream of electricity in her direction. She was about to dodge when she felt the sharp pain from the wound on her neck caused by the sudden movement from where the third head previously wounded her. Unable to dodge the stream of electricity Battra was forced to take the full force of the attack in the center of her body and sent her falling to the ground.
Just as Battra was about to hit the ground, another Titan dove in and grabbed her out of the air before gently dropping her the last 100 feet to the ground. This Titan was none other than Rodan, who was waiting for the moment his King would strike his adversary out of the air.
Just as Battra found the strength to pick herself up the Titan she fought with for such a brief exchange landed in front of her…towering over her battered body.
SSSKKRREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
Battra, knowing what this meant was left with no other choice than to lower her head in defeat before this strong Titan.
Kai: [The counterpart of Mothra. I wonder who'd win between the two of you in a fair fight? I look forward to such an occasion in the future, after all, Mothra is a fiercely loyal Titan and her versatility is nothing to be scoffed at. She even managed to severely wound Rodan in the movie.]
Kai: "You've got a lot of fight for being so small. With more experience you'll be one of my better assets. Don't fail me."
Battra: "Thank you for placing your hopes in me, I won't fail you…sire."
Author: "I'm still here just a heat of the moment story but I'll definitely try to see it through.
Any suggestions for Titans or Kaiju later down the road? I've got some rough ideas but I could include other suggestions."
