Raimon (4 February)

~She may be busy~

It was a break time at the hospital and as usual, Victor went to the cafeteria to buy and eat lunch. Only if Evelyne had time to prepare his lunch as well, he didn't have to do this every day.

His first week at the hospital went nice; he didn't bump into many problems. He also assisted a doctor who was nice and taught him a lot. He also didn't get troublesome patients at all and wished none of them would come till the end.

After he bought his lunch, he took a seat at the middle row table. He sat alone, enjoying his meal at peace. The cafeteria wasn't that crowded at that time. Only several doctors and workers ate in their break time as well.

Once in a while, Victor checked on his phone, wondering if Evelyne sent him a message. Unfortunately, there was none. He could just sighed and started to eat. 'She may be busy, or simply had nothing to say.'

"Looking at your phone like that won't make her send you a chat." A young man's voice came as someone dropped their plate and glass in front of Victor. When Victor moved his gaze, he found a dark blue hair man sitting on his opposite side after dragging the chair out.

"Get. Lost." His voice was as cold as ice. Victor back focused on his food, ignoring the man who was chuckling. Just by looking at that man would give him a bad mood.

"Oh come on. How come you become so cold to this older cousin. I miss you, you know" The man was Raimon, a young doctor that worked at The Golden Crest, also Victor's older cousin. He took a spoonful of his meal then chewed it. "How's your work?"

Victor remained silent and just ate his lunch. He had no intention of answering any of Raimon's questions. But it was irking him as Raimon kept waving his hand or shaking Victor's plate to get his attention. "What?" He dropped his spoon and finally spoke.

"I asked you, how's your work going? Do you have any problems here?"

"No," Victor answered shortly uninterestedly and continued eating with his mouth chewing faster.

Raimon frowned. "Then…" He was thinking so hard, about why his cousin was so gloomy. Then he remembered that Victor kept checking his phone. "Do you perhaps… have any problem with Eve?" Hearing Evelyne's name mentioned, Victor almost choked. "So, you do have a problem with her?"

With a sharp gaze cutting Raimon's face, Victor answered. "Can you just shut your mouth?" He took his drink before continuing to eat.

"Why?" Raimon chuckled as he took another spoon. "To be honest, I quite miss her. Is she doing good?" The last time he met her was when she needed a medical check-up for entering university. So it was more than half a year ago.

"Yes. Don't worry." He became annoyed with Raimon. He remembered about the picnic where Evelyne said she missed Raimon. There was a weird feeling blazing in his heart. Maybe, you can call it jealousy.

He felt insecure. When they were younger, Evelyne was closer to Raimon than him. They worked together, discussed things together, and supported each other. Even Raimon was the one who made them close in their first meeting. Now, he had a feeling toward Evelyne, he was afraid that she had a feeling toward Raimon, not just simply missing him.

"Hey, are you jealous or what? Don't worry, she's yours, I won't even think of stealing her from you." Raimon couldn't stop laughing. His cousin was so cute when he was jealous like this. He felt like he wanted to tease him more, but since they were in hospital and wearing white coats, it would be better to stop for now.

"Aishh… Don't make that face. I simply miss her as a friend, nothing more." Both of them were eating in silence for a while. While Raimon, he was remembering the old days, when he spent his time working with Evelyne in an event. That was their first meeting, and the first time he knew Victor liked someone else after Maria betrayed him. That was why he wanted to help Victor to be closer to Evelyne.

After five minutes, Raimon finished his meal. "I suddenly remembered the first time we met her. That time you don't even dare to approach her."

"What are you up to?" Victor's face turned a bit red. His first meeting moment with Evelyne was an embarrassing one to be remembered.

"Nothing. I just recalled the old-time," Raimon took his glass and sipped his tea. "Anyway, I'm curious. Have you made her your girlfriend? Or are you still friends?" He asked with a smile. He was sure the answer was the second.

Victor didn't answer that question. He was annoyed that almost everyone talked about dating Evelyne. Elanor, Raimon, even his best friend, Jovan. It wasn't that he didn't want it. He wanted it, of course. But he also had a past that made him afraid to do so. The past that no one knew.

"Hah… I don't know what you think about it. Are you afraid that she'll reject you? In my opinion, she won't reject you. Moreover, don't you think you have to decide where your relationship would go?" Raimon tried to give advice. He didn't want the help he gave in the past wasted in vain. He hoped that both Victor and Evelyne became a true couple.

"What do you know about us? Moreover, you yourself are still single, why are you bothering me and Eve?" Victor stood up and left Raimon alone.

"My gosh, your words hurt me, you know. Well, you're the type that worries about things. Remember don't worry that much or else," Raimon stopped for a while, making Victor who was about to leave stopped.

Victor clicked his tongue. "Or what?"

"Do you think you're the only one who likes her? Maybe there's someone or many other men that have their heart for her?" Raimon shrugged. "Don't hesitate too much and listen to your heart. Sometimes your brain can't handle this kind of thing."
