One hour.
Half an hour questioning the system and another half for practicing my newly obtained skill [Spirit meditation].
That's the the total amount of time that I spent here in white space.
On my way to practicing my [Spirit meditation], I asked the system what benefits I could get for it.
[Spirit meditation is an overall magic improvement for the user]
[The only limitation is how much time, patience, and hardwork will the user put into the skill]
[Here are the levels for the whole skill]
[Spirit meditation LV.1: +100 to Mag Atk/Mag Def]
[Spirit meditation LV.2: +1000 to Mag Atk/Def]
[Spirit meditation LV.3: +10000 to Mag Atk/Def]
[Spirit meditation Max: +100000 to Mag Atk/Def]
[Tip: it's better to abandon the skill on the first level if you're not interested in being a hermit for thousands of years]
That's what it said.
Having a hundred thousand for magic stats will make you a legendary wizard of the era. I think.
Just how outrageous these skills are.
Even the experience you needed to reach even level one is higher than my stats.
[Spirit meditation: 3/1000]
Three points of experience for continuous absorbing in thirty minutes.
It would take me an approximately a week of constant absorption before breaking through into the first level.
And that week is a week with no breaks in between.
I don't plan to be a wizard for the second level, but I am tempted to run a marathon for level one.
I don't feel hungry or tired, so there's a high possibility that I'm using soul energy as substitute for soul body needs.
That's my hypothesis at least.
I'm an average dude, but I'm the average dude you call grind master when it comes to RPG games.
I'm going to be uncomfortable if I don't even have a small cheat when landing.
Well, that's decided.
A week marathon of meditation then.
≈≈≈
The moment I started, I immediately tried multiple ways on how to absorb energy faster than a makeshift vacuum cleaner.
It's already proven that imagining a black hole will also absorb my own soul energy, so a big no-no.
Imagining an electronic fan... Nope.
A tornado, a swirl, a flush, a drainage system, magnet, and many other imagery.
I don't have any statistics for all of them, but they're all better than a vacuum cleaner for an imagery.
The most optimal and safe image is the vacuum machine that is used for air removal.
Harder than a normal vacuum, but it's stable and friendly. (Probably because I've seen it before)
It increased my absorption about three times over.
Right now, my absorption rate is about three points in ten minutes.
Meaning I can finish the first level less than three days, and that's good. I don't want to stay here for more than a week.
And so, time passed for me.
Ten hours.
Twenty seven hours.
Thirty nine hours.
Forty five hours.
Fifty six hours.
Fifty six hours of constant absorption, and agony. My skill finally reached level one.
[Notification: Skill - Spirit meditation >>> Skill - Spirit meditation LV.1]
[Notification: Increased soul energy density needed for another level]
[Notification: +100 Mag Atk]
[Notification: +100 Mag Def]
[Notification: Added Job - Spirit user to possible job changes]
[Notification: Added 'Possible job changes' to the status window. Please check it]
Okay, I'm never going to do that ever again.
Even if I'm a grind master, I'm not a cultivator. I can't stand seeing my number go up three times for only ten minutes.
If there's decimals for point acquisition, I might be more motivated.
The agony of just sitting doing nothing but imagining a vacuum to absorb energy has taken a toll on my sanity a little bit.
I'm not going to deny that the sound of the level up notification is super satisfying though.
That's it. I'm going to pick an easy skill to level up and experience that again!
Now that I reached my goal, there should be a change in my status window right?
"Status window."

A hundred and ten for both magic attack and defence!
Now that's a nice stat difference I'm talking about. Worth every second for that stat increase.
Spirit meditation though, as expected of a cultivation skill. The points needed for a level up has raised to outrageous domain.
That's scary.
What the system about being a hermit wizard is true after all.
Judging by the notification about increased soul density, I wouldn't even increase a single point with just ten minutes.
Try calculating the time needed for a level up... Yikes.
There's a new status.
About job changes hm? Pretty neat in my opinion. Easier jobs to pick, easier life.
I can change my job to spirit user, but I'm not going to do that.
I want to be a Swordsman.
I'm just doing this because I need to have safety precautions about magic beasts... If there are any.
Also because I might not be able to change jobs again if I set spirit user as my default.
I just want to be a Swordsman.
I might turn into a Magic Swordsman if there's a job like that.
There's definitely a job like that, right?

Now that I finished preparing, it's time for me to land on the planet.
The system gave me an infinite item box, and that's very helpful. Like seriously helpful.
Finally a cheat I can exploit—Or not.
Looks like it needs mana to manage, and my current mana pool is bare minimum for the package the goddess sent me.
I guess the 'no cheat' barrier is not going to be broken any time soon.

I'm slightly disappointed.
At least the item box skill appeared on my status.
