Lil bro Starfall suddenly bursting into tears was not surprising. I mean, Lil sister Crystal did seal his strength unconsciously just now. Starfall had probably cried due to Lil sister Crystal unconsciously exerted her Spirit Refinement realm strength when she was hugging him. Since Starfall was only 5 years old and only had 1st level of Body Tempering realm defense, it was already a surprise that his bones hadn't cracked. He must have drank a lot of milk back then.

"Hey uh...Crystal, maybe you should let go Lil brother Star. I think you're suffocating him." [Little sister Jade]

"Lil sister Jing, now's not the time to show your affection for him! We have a bigger concern here...Please let our lil brother go else he'll suffocate to death!" [Brother Lei Yong]

As we tried to persuade Sister Crystal to let Starfall go, lil brother star's cries grew even louder. Some time later, his cries had been injected with Spiritual Energy and those miserable cries started to shake our spirits! Realizing what had happen, even the Patriarch Mani and the elders had solemn looks plastered on their faces. It seemed that Starfall had unconsciously fused his cries with Spiritual Energy and created a spirit shaking sound based attack. This...Starfall was a genius! Anybody who could shake a cultivator's Spirit or Soul were undoubtedly geniuses who could fully utilize their Spiritual Sense and launch spiritual attacks in various forms. And as time went on, Starfall's Spiritual Energy infused cries became louder and stronger which have also shaken various people here. There was actually a good number of people here that had white faces with beads of sweat dripping down by the side of their cheeks.

Seeing the scene in front of me, I couldn't help but be proud. 'My lil bro Starfall is so strong!'
Little sister Crystal's fan club had also suffered losses at the cries of my lil bro. They were initially glaring daggers at Starfall when Lil sis Crys approached him. Their hateful stare grew even stronger when my sister placed her two hands on my little brother. And you know what? They had planned to launch several sneak attacks my little brother when Crystal lifted and embraced him in her arms! Their parents and guardians had also turned a blind eye for them when they were gathering their strength. The arrogance and conceit of these people! They were a disgrace for the New Generation! Sigh, it was too bad that I couldn't reprimand them for their insolence since their backgrounds weren't simple. Else with my strength, they wouldn't be able put up a fight!

Just as I was lost in thought, Patriarch Mani finally couldn't take it anymore and had deployed the elders to resolve the issue. After receiving the patriarch's order, Senior Elder Yan and Junior Elder Lei both started to make their moves. As Junior Elder Lei jumped out from his seat, he proceeded to unleash several kunai at Lil sister Crystal. Each kunai he threw out was infused with the lightning element and was therefore extremely fast. It wasn't until Brother Lei Yong had asked his father to stop that my eyes had managed to spot those kunai suddenly appear in Lil brother Star's tearful face. The sudden appearance of the kunai had frightened lil brother Starfall into silence, but his situation was dangerous. Just as a kunai was about pierce Starfall though, his initial fear had roused him up further to unleash a Spiritual Energy Cry in response! The other kunai following the first kunai was disturbed by the Spiritual Energy Cry and had altered their trajectories, causing each kunai to miss Starfall by a few inches.

"Frick, the patriarch wasn't taking action against Crystal but Starfall?!" I was shocked beyond belief that Patriarch Mani would try to silence the younger child instead of the elder sibling! Just as I was about to go help my little bro, I had suddenly found myself stuck to the floor. Looking around, I had saw my father, Junior Elder Alexis exerting his spiritual pressure upon me. I tried extricating myself from the floor but alas, my father had my legs glued to the floor. Furthermore, it wasn't only me that the elders had suppressed but all six of us couldn't move an inch from where we stood. In the end, we could only witness the elders silence our lil brother as stood by the side helplessly.

After Junior Elder Lei's kunai had all been deflected, Senior Elder Yan stood up from his seat calmly and proceeded to take out a brush and several pieces of yellow parchment from his storage ring. He picked up the brush and started to draw runes on the yellow parchment paper. His movements confused me for a moment before I finally understood his intentions. He was going to draw talismans! Each talisman Senior Elder Yan drew was infused with his own qi. Since Senior Elder Yan was a cultivator proficient in the earth element, so I guessed that the talismans he drew had something to do with binding and constraining Crystal in place as they will then try to pry her arms away from Lil brother Starfall. His later actions confirmed my conjectures.

Within seconds, Senior Elder Yan had already churned out five binding talismans. With another wave of his hand, he sent out these five talismans towards Crystal. When the talismans reached her, Starfall was indeed still crying but this time though, his cries did not contain any Spiritual Energy and therefore did not alter the talismans' course. Upon contact with Crystal's back, the talismans glowed yellow for a moment before they disappeared into the ground. Then from under Crystal, five rock arms rose into existence.

"Bind!" Senior Elder Yan shouted. With a performance of hand seals, the rock arms proceeded to grip onto Crystal's two arms, her waist and her two legs. Then the two rock arms slowly unfurled her arms away from Starfall while another rock arm appeared and caught him. As Starfall was carried to safety, he finally stopped crying. His eyes red and puffy whereas his cheeks were really swollen. Sigh, I now understand why Crystal was so infatuated with him. He's so damn cute! I just wanna pinch his red cheeks!

"Sigh, it's finally over...My fucking ears hurt!" A voice suddenly resounded. "Wow, wonderful! It took you, the patriarch, so damn long to resolve this issue. Are you an actor? Are your elders are props?! Can you guys not make a move without the actor's consent? Do you need scripts to know how to act?! You made me watch a child cry for 15 minutes! You should've stopped that young miss the moment the child teared up! Cheh, I thought the Severlance Family was a powerful family but turns out, it only amounted to this much. What a waste of my time..."

"So this was the expert's prowess..."

"Patriarch? What should we do now?"

"Postpone the ceremony. Send apology letters to the guests' families later. As for that mysterious expert, the person has already left. I don't know who that was but, that person's strong. Very strong." After Patriarch Mani analyzed the situation and gave out his orders, his face paled significantly as he coughed out a mouth full of blood. It seemed that the expert's words had stab him right through the heart.

As for us six siblings, we were equally as pale and shaken up but not to the point of receiving internal damage.
"At least Lil brother Starfall's safe. Oh, looks like he's fallen asleep."
