Anak's Rage

Khun smirked at Rudo.

The latter had completely frozen. He could not even think straight after witnessing how Baam demolished his teammates with complete ease.

It was understandable.

If I was in his shoes, I will also freeze in fear.

When you are facing your predator as a prey, you would not dare to move. It is hardwired into your brain that if you pretended to be a statue, you might have another chance and get spared.

Khun slowly approached Rudo. He carried his suitcase with him at all times.

That suitcase is nothing ordinary. Just from how it affected the flow of Shinsu around it, you could tell that it will be an extremely powerful weapon once it is fully unsealed.

Hm. What was this weapon's name again?

Ah yeah. It was Manbarondenna. This weapon has a lot of useful functions.

Considering how Khun acted and moved around, this suitcase is the most appropriate for him. It can be used as a means of offense, defense, and support.

"W-what are you planning to do?"

Rudo flinched as he stared at Khun.

The lightning jumping around his body vanished with a small spark. He possessed one of the best bloodline purity in their family. It was only three levels below compared to the Family Head of the Khun Family.

This bloodline allowed him to manipulate Shinsu and mimic lightning with ease. Those lightning sparks that were on his skin was the result of Shinsu reacting to his bloodline once it made contact with the other.

It seemed that he was terrified enough for his bloodline to even lose control.

He is extremely fragile right now. Even an ordinary Regular can easily decapitate him and send him to underworld without breaking a sweat.

Khun stood before Rudo. They were only a meter away from each other.

"Sleep for now, Rudo."

Khun smiled warmly before he smacked his suitcase against Rudo's forehead.

"You will not kill him?"

I looked at Khun with interest. It was a chance to deal the Khun Family a heavy blow but it seemed that Khun was not planning on doing that.

"I am not like you who can just ignore the influence of Zahard Empire and 10 Great Families."

I shrugged my shoulders. I also cannot ignore their powers and influence. That is precisely why I want to utterly destroy them. They are an eyesore.

"Are you going with me?"

I looked at Khun who walked beside me. It was obvious that he wanted to go with me.

"Of course. Aren't we a team?"

Khun smiled at me.

I cannot help but sigh.

From a distance laid Rudo's body, it was then that a familiar power invaded his mind through his temple. This power edited a particular set of Rudo's memories before it vanished.

Khun looked behind.

"What's up?"

I asked him as I also looked at the unconscious Rudo.

Khun shook his head.

He did not notice the passing glint in my eyes.

Hm? Looks like it had begun.

Khun looked at the five corpses in a distance.

It was the bodies of other Regulars from our team spot. Either their head was cracked open or their body were bending in an extreme way. It was a gruesome sight.

Even Khun felt uncomfortable. It was only for an instant though.

I looked at the flashing shadows that were in stalemate.

It was Anak and the sword-wielder kid versus two people that were from the Zahard Empire.

Obviously, Anak was fighting with all of her strength. Even then, the other sides can still keep up with them. Those kids even looked relaxed and that enraged Anak further.

"You damn Zahard Empire rats!"

Woosh!

Her green weapon can extend as long as Anak had the energy reserves to support it. It swung towards her two enemies without any mercy.

"Is this all you got... bastard child?"

Her two enemies wielded their own weapons to block her attack. They grunted as the tremendous force of her attack sent them a few meters away.

But, they were unscathed even with that attack.

Anak who could dominate other Regulars with ease, was having trouble in defeating her two enemies. Her anger did not dissipate but burned even stronger.

"Why don't you give us the Green April instead? You cannot use it at all. It is useless in your hands."

Her frown deepened as she did not speak back.

Willpower is one of her strengths and she is now trying to use it to go further what her bloodline can afford to give her.

She put tension across her entire body as the ground cracked like a spider-web.

However, it was not enough. She may be able to defeat them, but she could never kill them with this amount of strength.

Her bloodline from her late mother was her only connection with the latter. Her mother once said to her that as long as she never gave up, her mother would always keep her safe.

It was only for a single moment but the figure of Baam entered her vision.

Baam had a simple smile on his face while he pointed at her silently.

In that instant, an enormous force that were not previously present in her body, coursed through her small frame. She felt a temporary increase in strength that went beyond the means of her bloodline and physique.

She did not say anything and let go of the tension on her feet.

Boom!

She appeared like lightning before her two enemies and punched out her two palms over their foreheads.

The two kids were not expecting a sudden eruption in her strength. Anak now had the physical strength of a top E-Rank Regular. It was only a minute away from a D-Rank Regular.

They coughed up blood as they flew like a comet.

Bang!

The impact cracked a dozen meter perimeter around them as they struggled to get up. One of them supported his broken arm that fractured from their bad landing, while the other was having a hard time breathing.

They looked at Anak incredulously.

How could this damnable lizard erupt with such strength?!

Looking at her, she still have not learned Shinsu Reinforcement and was still in the middle of learning that skill.

Normally, that will be taught to them by a Ranker, but of course there are always exceptions. Geniuses can learn it by themselves just based on the description they have learned from their studies back when they were still just dreaming of becoming a Regular.

Badum!

A green shadow appeared above them as it landed on one of the kid's leg without any mercy. It only took an instant for the kid's leg to separate from his body.

"Aargghh!"

With her current physical strength, Anak now stood at the very top of every Regular in this floor. That is if you removed Baam from the equation.

His partner looked at his torso. There were complicated emotions flashing in his eyes.

"Where are you looking at?"

His partner looked back and was swung into the air by a small fist.

Anak appeared out of nowhere before him. She looked at his missing leg and smirked.

"Is that all you got, Zahard Empire rat?"

The kid looked at Anak with despair. The pain coursing through his body was something he had never experienced before. Still, he tried to stand up and face Anak head on.

But, his determination was crushed once again.

That was because he saw his partner's head rolling on the ground in front of him.

"...You're still not done?"

He looked at the black-haired kid who carried a sword on his back. It was obvious who did that.

"Shut it..."

Anak harrumphed before she faced the feeble kid in front of her. She did not feel any guilt as she swiped down her weapon towards the latter.

She turned her head and looked at her teammate.

"Let's go."

Anak felt that the temporary strength she had gotten, seep away like tiding water. She went back to her previous physical prowess as she looked around her.

Baam and Khun cannot be found.

It was only now that the kid's body became two as both parts dropped onto the ground.

They were killed mercilessly.

I looked at the sight and sighed.

Evankhell is in for trouble.

The game that her test administrators suggested turned out to be a failure. No kid from the aristocrat families will probably leave this place alive.

As they are test administrators, they still ought to show which side they are leaning towards to. Considering that more than half of the twelve kids have already died, these test administrators really were spitting on the face of those bigshots who backed the kids.

What is more cruel is that these test administrators were watching the game right now and did not know that the feed they are watching is fake.

Lero Ro had already noticed something amiss when he looked at how the game progressed as time went on. He asked the test administrator to check things.

All of them were shocked when they noticed how bad the things have become in the Battle Royale game.

They were at the point of no return. They either had to let themselves get killed, hide from them, or join organizations that were enemies of the Zahard Empire and 10 Great Families.

"Who did it...?"

Lero Ro asked himself as he looked grave.
