'Where am I?'

Slowly Luke opened his eyes, he was in what looked like a hospital bedroom. He looked around and there was nobody in the room beside him.

"It was a dream?"

For a moment Luke thought that maybe all the things that happened in that dungeon were nothing but a dream. But everything feels so real that he couldn't believe that all of that was just a dream.

"Window"

He had to check, if everything was a dream, then nothing should pop out, but as expected the status window appeared in the middle of the air.

Like before he was able to see general information about himself.

'Title? What is this?'

But unlike last time, now he had something new that shows up on the screen, Luke had a title called Tamer that wasn't there earlier.

Meanwhile, he was checking the status window, the room door opened, and the man with the expensive suit from before came in.

"Are you awake?"

The man sited on a chair while was talking to Luke with a tone that was more gentle than last time.

"Y-Yes, I just wake up. May I know where am I?"

"You are in the general hunter hospital. We bring you here after you collapsed in front of the gate."

"Oh, I see. Thanks for taking care of me Mr…"

"My name is Zegion Lockster. More importantly, can you explain to me what happened in the dungeon?"

"Well, what happened was…"

Then Luke introduce himself and explained the previous events inside the dungeon to Zegion, he omitted some parts like he was thinking and he came from another world and just said that he had amnesia and he couldn't remember even his name until the soldier explained to him about the status window.

"I see. Well, we were able to check and recovered Hunter Roberts's corpse. The type of damage that he has in his body matches with what you said. But, you tell me that the dungeon boss helped you?"

"Y-yes, I not very sure what happened, but maybe is related to my skills?"

An eyebrow in Zegion's face went up when Luke mentioned his skills.

"Mr. Luke, until now I ask you about the general situation to determine what happened in the dungeon, but normally somebody shouldn't talk so freely about his personal information. Some things are hard to hide, for example, other people will assume that you are an elf at first sight but things like skills are everything so you shouldn't expose them so lightly."

Zegion was right. Luke was about to tell him more information to him without thinking first. In the worst-case scenario, some situations like before could happen again if they didn't have more care next time.

"Mr. Lockster, I don't remember almost anything, is there a way to know what my skills do?"

A lightly smile appeared on Zegion's face and then he briefly explained.

"Sure, all you need to do, is to focus on the skill that you want to know about and the information will just show up in front of you, is very easy."

"Okay. I try."

Then Luke tried to focus on the skill that he thought was the reason why the dungeon boss was so gentle to him.

[Boss Buddy L]

[Greatly increase affection towards dungeon bosses giving the possibility to receive help and gave them orders. Does not work with normal monsters. Only works with dungeon monsters below the hunter's rank.]

That was the description of the [Boss Buddy] skill. So in the end it was the reason why he was rescued by the dungeon boss from before. But still, Luke didn't have a very clear idea of what ranks were.

"Mr.Willow, what are ranks?"

"Monsters and Hunters have different ranks that help us classify their power based on their stats. The ranks from below to the top are F, E, D, C, B, A, S, M, and finally L. Just to let you know and M means Myth Rank and L mean Legendary rank. Normally is extremely rare to find a hunter with M or L skills. If I remember correctly there are only 1,000 M skill users and 500 L skill users in all the world."

"What? Only that much?"

"Please don't get confused, have an L rank skill and be L Hunter are different things. A hunter can have an L or M skill but if these overall states are low that Hunter could be maybe he could be a B or A hunter even though he has an L skill, maybe this can be confusing but it all depends when we check the hunter general status and we decided which rank give to that hunter."

The difference between a Myth and Legendary ranks was very big, and not only that, Luke currently had 3 L skills in his possession, but he didn't know if his stats were very low, normal, or high. If the scale was from 1 to 100, he would very weak, but if the scale was from 1 to 10 I should be considered strong.

"Maybe is better not to tell the rank of my skills if I want to avoid problems in the future."

Then he became more curious about his other two L skills.

[Athena's Wisdom L]

[Gives the user general information about the target. Gives more information if the user has a higher rank than the target.]

Then this skill was probably the one that shows him the name of the dungeon boss before.

Then considering that he could ask help from the Dungeon Boss an E rank monster, then Luke had to be at least E rank also or higher.

Finally, he checked his last skill.

[Conqueror Soul L]

[Authorizes the user to own a dungeon that is lower in rank from him. Cost greats amounts of mana. When the dungeon is purchased the owner can modify it at his own will.]

'Hey, aren't these skills a little broken?'

Luke had read a lot of novels about hunters and dungeons so the concept wasn't strange for him, and also help him to understand the current situation a little bit better. In the novels that Luke read the protagonist had always some type of cheat skill that helps him become stronger or useful. Some skills that he remember were some type of ability to raised other hunters or copy other characters' skills. But he never had heard of somebody that could own a dungeon or control a dungeon boss.

If you combined these two skills, technically you can own your world. If the same rules of the novels applied to this world, then the dungeons were something like a different dimension or something like that.

'Who knows what the leaders of the world would do with these skills.'

After he had a better idea of his skills Luke asked another question to Zegion.

"Mr.Willow, what are titles?"

"Do you have a title too?"

"I think so."

Now Luke was being more cautious about what he revealed to other people, Mr. Willow didn't seem like a bad person, on the contrary, he gave him a strange sense of security like the dungeon boss.

"Titles are rewards that the system gives to the hunters if they meet the right conditions. They are special effects that are always on."

With Zegion's explanation, Luke decided to check his title.

[Tamer ]

[Gives double effect to skills related to control or taming monsters.]

'Hey, isn't this a little too good?'

With the Tamer title, his [Boss Buddy] skill would be more efficient with the results of being extra effective toward the dungeon bosses.

"Then did you find something useful?" Zegion asked with a gentle expression on his face.

"Yes. Kinda, at least I can tell you that the dungeon boss helps because of my skill."

"Well, that would make sense. Did you were able to check your hunter rank?"

"We'll tell him it should be fine."

"Actually, it says [Unregister Hunter] so don't know what my rank is."

"Then that means that you just recently awakened at you haven't check overall stats, when you are discharged I would bring you to the Hunters Headquarters so they can give you a rank."

"Thanks for all the help Mr.Willow."

Zegion let escape a little laugh and then said:

"Don't worry, I have believed in equal exchange I just hoped that Mr.Luke would do something for me in the future. Now rest a little bit, I will be coming tomorrow to take you out."

And then Zegion got out of the room leaving Luke alone once again. Luke was kinda worried about what Zegion will ask him in exchange for his help, but Luke was more worried about the status window that was in front of him.

Just for curiosity, Luke wanted to find out if his skill [Athena's Wisdom] worked on humans, since the description only said target and not monsters it was a possibility to use the skill in other persons too. With that set in mind, Luke applied the skill on Zegion, but what it showed up was kind of concerning to him.
