CHAPTER 62: THE RAIN HATER
“I thought it was the rain that bugged him. I didn’t know he was struggling with something deeper. But why won’t he tell us? Aren’t we family?” – Ira P.

“Knock! Knock! You guys done here?” Maggie, standing at the door, peered at her colleagues.
Ira quickly stood up so stiffly that she looked like a child who was caught stealing candy.
“Y-YES! W-WE’RE DONE! HIC!” she replied hiccupping all the way to the door.
“Are you okay?”
“HIC! Y-yeah? Why dyah ask? HIC!”
Maggie’s face winced.
“Well, you’re having hiccups. Do you need some water? And…” she placed her palm on her forehead and said, “Are you sick?”
“Huh? W-why?
“You’re so red.”
“Y-you’re right! I need some water! Come with me!”
She grabbed Maggie’s hand and quickly rushed to the canteen to buy a bottle of water, leaving Skye behind to wrap up everything in the clinic.
