CHAPTER 66: RUNAWAY
“So what if I run away home? I’m an adult anyway.” – Ira P.
---
“Hector? Hectooor! Yohoo!” Ira called for the school caretaker through the black iron gates of Grayson Academy, shaking it so that it made an annoying clanging noise.
The poor old man limped his way to the iron gates and peered his eyes as he pointed his flashlight to where the voice was coming from to see who was calling him. When he saw the young lass bouncing and waving her hands at him with a wide smile on her face, he hissed.
Displease was all over his face.
“Why come to the academy at this hour? It’s late. All the teachers and staff have gone home.” He grumbled as opened the locks.
“I’m sorry, Hector! I forgot something inside and I might stay for the night to finish some paper works.”
“Pft! You, young ones, have poor memory! Look what technology has done to you! You easily forget things. Tsk! Tsk! I’m old but my memory is still sharp!”
