"You don't have to do this." I held my hands up. I was scared for my life.

It was then that I truly wondered: How did we become like this? 
A thriller based on five types of people: A murderer, a prosecutor, a hacker, an assaulter, and a nurse. They are all put into situations where they are in a coma and are brought into a whole other world, in which there is no one besides each other, where they must complete personal challenges based upon their pasts. If they complete the challenges, they are able to live again and awake from their comas. But, if they don't complete their challenges, well-I guess you'll have to see.

The Fate Upon Us

All of this came as a big shock to me. I didn’t realize that how I’d been going about everything was having the opposite effect of what I desired. My goal in all of this was to get Alice to depend on me and love me solely. I mean, I knew that part of her heart belonged to me already, but I wanted it all. She didn’t understand that I did all of this because her heart was wavering in favor of Jayce! It was all a wasted effort because in the end, all of her heart flew to him in the end. 


“I don’t know how to explain this, but if he hurries, he should be able to revive them. Right?” Jayce asked me. 


I looked down, he was right. “Yes.” 


“Then what are you waiting for? Hurry up! Let’s go save them!” Alice said, taking my arm and pulling me up. Even that small touch sent sparks flying. My heart was in the right place, but apparently my actions were not. I had a feeling that I’d regret this whole challenge situation for the rest of my life.
