"You don't have to do this." I held my hands up. I was scared for my life. 
"One of us has to live and it's gonna be me."
It was then that I truly wondered: How did we become like this? 
A thriller based on five types of people: A murderer, a prosecutor, a hacker, an assaulter, and a nurse. They are all put into situations where they are in a coma and are brought into a whole other world, in which there is no one besides each other, where they must complete personal challenges based upon their pasts. If they complete the challenges, they are able to live again and awake from their comas. But, if they don't complete their challenges, well-I guess you'll have to see.

The Fate Upon Us

That night, they all collectively woke up from where they were being held captive before and met up at the diner like they promised. During the night, they shared nothing but smiles and laughs. They didn’t reflect on what had happened nor did they reflect on what they could’ve done differently. They took comfort in each other’s company and to anyone watching them, you would have thought they were all one big happy family. Daniel did not join them for fear of being cast out, but he secretly wished the group to have everlasting happiness. They all ended the night with their faces aching from smiling and went to bed with light hearts.
