Inside Adrian's space,

Evan had no idea why he felt like that, what did he wanted to see in Scarlet's face, disappointment, or was it anger, or some other emotion.

But whatever it was, it just made him annoyed, and Scarlet's calm face made him annoyed even more.

The guilt he felt was real, and it wasn't just because of Hailey, but because of Scarlet too, she deserved to know about him, about his past, to know the true him.

Yet somehow he always hid that part of him, which showed the true him. He always showed his cheerful side, his playful side, in front of Scarlet.

It was as if there were two sides of him, one that was hidden from Scarlet especially, while that he showed to Scarlet especially.

He had no idea why he did that, maybe because he was afraid of something, but whatever it was, today he wanted to come clean.
