"She died.... Hailey….. she died…" Evan said as he grabbed his face with both hands clenching hard "To protect me, she sacrificed herself."

"Those beasts did not let go of us, they pursued us till the very end, and when we were in the corner, there was nothing we could do."

"She was hurt very badly, shot three times on her back, while I was exhausted, carrying her along, running like a maniac, until I could run no more."

"Always in her life, she felt so light to me, as light as a feather, but that day god knows why she felt so heavy."

"She was bleeding, she should feel even lighter, no? But she felt heavy, so heavy, and I felt so exhausted."

"But I was ready to die….." Ethan choked "I was ready to die with her, but she just did not let me."
