The main reason why he did not say anything to Hannah and others regarding not using their talent was that, Evan, Hannah and Scarlet were together.

All three of these people had someone whose family member had been raised from the dead.

And from what he had seen, Hailey and others never wandered around alone.

It was as if they were separated into two groups, one, in which Hailey and Alex parents were together, while second, where Scarlet's mother and grandfather.

And they would be a moron if they went ahead and met Hannah and others, cuz doing that was same was revealing that someone had not only awakened them, but people surrounding Evan or Hannah's past too.

Once a coincidence is a coincidence, but twice, and at the same time, even an idiot would know that something was wrong with the situation.
