New type of energy Qi

Noah walked out of the teleportation hall for EverlastingLight City. He then made his way and entered the Floating Holy Library. Back in, the quiet elegant library he walked around looking for books to help him decipher the scroll he got from the Special Gold Item Chest.

He found language books as well but didn't find any that matched the language of the Reanimate spell he had gotten from his last chest.

Picking quite a few books, Noah found a table to set them on. He pulled out the scroll he had gotten, a book and pen.

"Ler's finish this quickly."

He opened the books looking for the cypher that the scroll was written in, after finding a match he started decoding it. His mind quickly processed everything as his hand constantly moved writing everything into the notebook.

He then finished it and read what he wrote again.

"Basic Breathing Technique

An ancient scroll that was written by a human monk to pass on his technique for future generations to befit. This technique requires patience and self-control. Through the use of your life energy, you are able to manifest your physical strength into internal energy. For this process, you need an understanding of nature and oneself. Only then can you find balance and awaken Qi.

Qi is an energy that when condensed into the body is able to break its physical limits. Giving anyone who had it unlimited potential...

Step 1- Relax your breathing…"

Noah read through the whole explanation and the ten steps it had. The ten steps written weren't unheard of on earth, there were similar to meditation guides, just a lot more complicated. As for internal energy, he knew it existed, father-In-law had formed it, when he was young he had seen him destroy boulders with punches.

Actually, he and even Kira had reached a borderline point where they were close to forming internal energy. It was why they were so strong. It was just that it would take decades until it condensed.

As for Secret of the Four Seasons, it naturally used internal energy. It was just that forming it and using it in attacks happened in its later stages.

Noah followed the steps and started meditating in the library, there was no one around to disturb him so it was a perfect place.

He spent an hour but saw no difference. Nothing had changed about him. He looked at his notebook again and read a part about assisting awakening.

"...Mediating a long time in a peaceful environment will help or using the technique in a stressful environment may give the last burst needed...

...The technique requires a high amount of strength, it can limit your awakening. By slowly training it up or by using a potion to increase it will help in forming Qi."

"An attribute potion... I know an Alchemist shop in EternalFlame city sells low-rank potions that give temporary rise in attributes. It probably won't be enough..." Noah gets up and gets more books on attributes and how to increase them.

Reading them he actually learned a lot and cleared a few misunderstandings. One was that actual attributes were a lot more relevant than they seemed. Normally only your actual attributes were affected by your talents. Talents that worked with both equipment attributes and actual needed had a reduced effect on the equipment ones.

"I hadn't noticed this before since equipment gives such a high amount of attributes, but I did have a significant increase in my Spatial Sense from the five attributes points I got in the Sense attribute on Solo clearing. As for the rest, I'll have to check them during battle."

His physical attributes increased from the daily training he did at the Gravity Chamber. Reading books here in the Floating Holt Library increased his mental attributes by a little as well. Mana Circuit, which he had just learned had increased his Mana attribute by a lot. But he had never focused on increasing them.

Thinking about it, his talents covered all the attributes. Well, he did have five of them.

"Genius Martial Combat Body is quite obvious, it increases all the physical attributes. Blessed Mind increases the mental ones and even has an effect on Mana. Spatial Sense and Truth Seeker both work on Sense. While Guardian of Love is rather vague, its effects are unknown."

By now he had understood Truth Seeker, it was just a sensation where he could certainly say whether someone was lying or not. At times he could tell the intention behind words, that was all. It wasn't particularly strong which was expected of an E Class skill.

Continuing his research for increasing his attributes he found a few methods.

The first was attribute stones. He had already used all of them, middle grade and high grade stones weren't available in the Protected Zone.

The second was training, which he was already doing, constantly using these special buildings had a low probability of increasing attributes.

The third was through dungeons, there were certain achievements you could get that would give you attributes. Sadly he didn't know what the achievements were, but he remembered how when he first started he got attributes to a maximum of five when he solo cleared them, he even got them earlier when completing the Goblin Castle. If there were other achievements he would have to blindly look for them.

Finally, there were Secret Buildings the system generated that had items that could increase attributes. It was that you just find them by exploring the world.

Noah went through the examples from previous Protected Zones, "A small hut that had a hidden path in it... wait haven't I seen such a hut..."

He remembered he had seen one when he was travelling to dungeons months ago. He had seen it in passing and had assumed some had built it as a temporary living area, then abandoned it. So he didn't care about it and flew by.

The Explorer Map popped up, Noah marked the location he remembered and got up. He was going to check if there was actually a secret to it.
