Back at the Inn Noah looked at the chest placed in front of him. Alice had fallen asleep now, so he was alone. The excitement for everything still hadn't died down for so he couldn't sleep..

He opened the Special Gold Chest.

There were four items inside. He took them out and the chest disappeared.

The first was a book.

[Hybrid Pistol Gun Design] (D Class)

Noah was interested but he already had the best gun you could get so he just put it away.

He then picked out a scroll and unravelled it, inside was three magic circles and writing that he couldn't understand written around it. He recognised those circles, the Skeleton Mage had formed them when it had cast Reanimate. This scroll wasn't a skill book, Noah guessed that it explained the spell's function in detail.

The other two items were a mask and an ingot of Deeptanium. The ingot was an A Class material while the mask was a D Class item. It was black in colour made from an opaque crystal. It had no features and was completely plain.

Looking at the mask Noah felt it was perfect for his current situation. At the moment the name Silver Druid, his mask and equipment had already gotten popular. Many of the guilds had him marked as a person of interest and now that he had helped Moonlight clear the A Class everyone would want to know who he was.

This was why he wanted to create another identity that he would use when he moved around solo, with Ghost's Shadow to hide his identity and the Cursed Requiem as his weapon. This was why he had avoided using it and Flash Step during the fight.

He was going to full throttle as he searched for other S Class from now on. He also needed to prepare himself for the fights ahead. S Class monsters were too strong, he had just seen one and he felt like he would fall to his knees in surrender.

Noah then got up and left the Inn. Walking now, since his Levitation Staff was still sealed, he was leaving for Eternal Flame City, he had a dwarf to meet.

In the Dwarven Blacksmith Association Noah paid the gold and met Albert again.

"I've found the Crystal," Noah said as he put it down. It was a black diamond. It was called the Diamond of Darkness, an A Class elemental Crystal that Albert could use to strengthen the Cursed Requiem.

He hadn't even gotten to use the sword and he got this.

Albert picked it up and looked at it.

"Pristine quality. You were one of the people that completed the A Class dungeon, right? What else did you get? Don't hide them from me, I'll only do you good."

Noah didn't mind and showed Albert all the materials he got. He had specifically traded for materials because Albert had told him to.

"Good, Good! You listened to my advice!" Albert said seeing the bag full of materials Noah had put down. He then picked up the purple Abyssal Crystal Shards he saw that Noah had gotten seven of them.

"This is also good, Abyssal Crystal is an extremely rare type, so even its shards are valuable. I could add this to your sword as well. But one shard would be enough..." Albert stopped and then looked at Noah's waist, rather the gun holstered there

"Have you ever thought about getting a new gun? I could make you one with the others."

Noah shook his head, "From what you and Oliver told me, the Ancient Magic Wood Flint Lock is the best already. So unless it's something better or equal I don't want another."

"I also said that it would impossible for me to make a Demi C Class weapon. So I can't make you a gun better than that. However, there is a way to have a normal D Class weapon be as stronger or stronger than a Demi C Class one."

"It's something that only people who can equip multiple weapons can gain, it is called Synergy effect. It's like the set effect of armour but rarer. I happen to be one of the few forgers in the Eternal Battlefield who can forge them. If I form a synergy between the gun and sword, so when you equip both you'll get bonus attributes and skills that will make it stronger than the semi D Class gun you currently have equipped."

Seeing that Noah was interested Albert smiled, "However, before we go further first you must do something. One of the materials that I'll need for this is something I also want for myself."

Noah had a system screen appear in front of him.

[Do You swear to keep everything that will be spoken about in this room a secret?]

Noah looked at Albert with confusion but agreed.

Albert nodded, "Good here."

Enter the Hidden A Class dungeon, Deep Mines and bring an A Class chunk of Transitioning Darkness Crystal.

Reward:

- One chance to have Albert forge anything for you.

Noah looked at the sudden and quest, then looked back at Albert.

"Go run this errand for me. If you do it successfully, I'll augment the sword and forge the gun. Even forge another D Class equipment if you want. If you fail or don't accept, I'll just fix the sword and we'll act as if none of this happened," Albert said casually.

"From the rewards, what does the membership do?"

"You can buy things we don't normally sell to others. As well as get priority here, so you'll get equipment forged much faster, there a bunch of other benefits as well you'll have to go and ask Nathan at the front for a full explanation."

"No need, I agree," Noah answered, being able to enter a hidden A Class dungeon was already a big enough reward, everything else was just icing on the cake.

Albert nodded and clapped his hands the screen disappeared as the room shook and space behind Noah parted.

Light distorted as reality cut open and a different world could be seen through the portal formed.

Noah looked at it with interest, inside he saw a dark cave with sparkling stones.

"This A Class dungeon doesn't have a normal entrance and can only be entered like this. After 24 hours you'll be forcefully removed. so make sure to find the Crystal and bring it to me. I'll start processing the other materials for your sword while I wait for you. Take this as well to mine, give it back to me later." Albert threw a pickaxe that Noah caught.

"Now go." Albert waved his hand pushing Noah into the portal and closing it.

Noah on the other side looked around. Then opened his Explorer Map. He saw that it only showed the above ground. He was still in Eternal Flame City.

He then opened the Spatial Map. It changed into a 3-dimensional map, he could see his current depth. He was basically just above the core of the planet. Probably, the only reason he was able to stand here was because of the mana inside cooling the temperature.

Noah closed the Map and walked holding the pickaxe. He looked at the pickaxe.

Only have three uses to mine with so be careful where you use it.

Stopping for a moment Noah took out the Cursed Requiem from his inventory and hung it to his side while putting his staffs away. He wasn't, going to use them in the dungeon.

Then he took out the two new D Class skills he got at the A Class dungeon: Curse of Weakness and Curse of Self Harm.

Weaken the enemy, reducing all their attributes by 10 for 5 minutes.

cooldown: 20 minutes

[Lv.1 Curse of Self Harm]

D+ Class

A self buffing curse, that will form a protective layer around you causing all enemy attacks to be reflected back for 10 seconds.

cooldown: 2 hours

The final thing he had to do was switch his Mask and Cloak to the D Class ones he had gotten. Now ready, Noah sprinted forward with his Explorer Map open at the side.
