Hidden A Class dungeon, Deep Mines

Noah moved swiftly as he looked around. The cave wasn't large, just a few meters taller than him. It seemed naturally formed with how it was set, it also had jewels and gems sticking out everywhere.

Noah grabbed up a red one.

He then threw it and continued running. From what he could tell all the jewels he was seeing on the surface were F Class. He would need to go deeper into the dungeon to get the higher ranking ones.

Increasing his speed, he navigated through the twisting and turning caves using the Explorer Map to scan ahead. His senses weren't limited like they were in the Darkness Abomination dungeon so he had an easier time moving.

The dungeon barely had any monsters, even after running for he hadn't even seen one. Keeping the pace he used Spatial Sense to make he sure wasn't missing anything valuable.

Through his Explorer Map, he saw how the caves formed this network that moved around the core of the planet. He then sensed a monster in the cave below him. He used Flash Step and appeared near it.

A salamander the size of an arm was crawling on the cave wall when Noah appeared. It quickly moved and acted as if it was part of the crystals around.

Through sight, Noah wouldn't have been able to find it but he wasn't relying on it. He drew his new sword for the first time. He activated all his buffs and debuffs.

He used Strength Boost, Speed Boost, Bulk Up, Death's Dance, Cold Mind and Wild Swordplay on himself. Then used Blind, Evil Glare and Curse of Weakness on the monster.

His hand fell on the blade as he activated two other skills he had learned that were sword-based so he hadn't used yet. First was Insanity Venom, the sword gained a thin dark green glow. Silent Screech, Noah dragged his finger across the blade.

The unexpecting Salamander was confused as it fell off the wall. Noah closed distance instantly and strikes it multiple times stacking Insanity Venom five times.

Then activating Yin Yang Reinforcement Noah pierced the salamander straight through. The Severe Corruption spread as the Salamander tried to heal and soon died.

It was an A Class monster but he had taken it out quickly. A few items dropped on the ground from its body. They were various green Crystals of C and B Class and an E Class ring. Noah picked them up, they were all worth keeping.

He then moved forward. Flash Stepping around he killed a lot more monsters along the way, they all dropped precious stones and normally accessories.

"Albert has literally given me a diamond mine to harvest," Noah said as he picked up a diamond looking stone. He felt extremely rich at the moment, it was like a world of limitless treasure.

The monsters weren't weak but they weren't strong enough to be a challenge either, with his new equipment, skills and now that using his sword as well he was ploughing through A Class monsters.

The Abnormal Creations and Cursed Undead were all very strong, but that was only when he used his Ancient Magic Wood Flintlock. With the Cursed Requiem out, his damage increased multiple folds.

Each slash corrupted the monster that slowly spread and weakened it, with all the debuffs he layered on with this, he was to kill an A Class monster in dozens of slashes.

Searching around for an hour he finally saw a large room. On his left on the other side of the cave wall. Flash Stepping through he looked around the black crystal covered cave. Near one of the walls was an enormous crystal formation the size of a three-story building.

Level 95

It was actually the shell of a slumbering monster. This monster was what he was looking for. He pulled back his sword and slashed on the crystal. His sword was used back as he felt all the force return back into it. He had done nothing to the crystal.

He tried again, this time multiple quick slashes, he still did no damage. Activating all the buffs he had, he attacked again.

Even with Critical Hit Eyes he couldn't see any weakness on the shell. It was simply indestructible.

Noah pulled back his sword and activated Yin Yang Reinforcement. The sword was coated with black and white energy.

He then attacked, he finally left a thin scratch on the shell.

'At this rate, I'll be able to break through by the next century.' Attacking it clearly wasn't the way in.

"How do I break its defence?" He then remembered the pickaxe he had put away. It seemed like, he would have to use it to break this. He held it with both hands and raised it behind his head. He then smashed its edge into the crystal.

It broke in, Noah smiled and used the other two attempts and the whole crystal shattered and fell on the ground. It revealed a black snail with its shell growing the crystals he wanted.

Noah retreated with a series of Flash Steps to dodge the razor-sharp crystals falling. Arriving at the opposite side of the room he put the pickaxe away as it was useless now.

He cast all his debuff skills as he pulled out his gun and sword, then shot at the snail.

The snail moved and brought its shell to defend, deflecting his bullets off.

Noah held the trigger and Ancient Solar Ray beamed out. It was deflected out spreading all over the room. Causing Noah to dodge with Flash Step. He switched to seed bullets, but they also just deflected off. His flintlock wasn't able to do any damage to it.

So he teleported close in and slashed with Cursed Requiem covered in Yin Yang Reinforcement.

Compared to the outer coat, which left a scratch he was able to leave a slight wound. It wasn't much different, but it was enough for Severe Corruption to take an effect. Black cracks formed as the corruption spread on its body.

The snail seemed to have a strong resistance against curses as it took time for Severe corruption to spread.

Noah spent hours striking it, he now had formed dozens of small wounds on its body and shell. The earlier ones had barely grown by a centimeter.

Other than its impenetrable defence the snail didn't have strong attacks. It attacked physically most of the time, sometimes shooting Crystal Slime that solidified instantly and would be able to trap him inside. Its movement speed was too slow so everything was easy to dodge.

Noah teleported to the entrance of the cave, he then moved to the location the black crystals ended and shot multiple seed bullets. Moving back he exploded them collapsing the cave. Now the Snail was trapped inside while the corruption continued to spread.

Noah sat near the rocks and lay back, he was finally sleeping for the day. He would stay alert while sleeping and wake up if anything approached him so he was fine with sleeping in the dungeon unguarded.
