Goblin Castle, Royal Goblin Knights (1)

On the top of a hill. Noah stood on a tree branch overlooking a stone castle. It was made of grey large strong bricks. It had a wooden gate at the front and four tall towers on its corners. Each with Purple crystals in them.

The goblins that were supposed to be surrounding the castle had all been cleared rather red tents with the Bloodhood Insignia were all around.

Bloodhood had taken control of the Goblin Castle after Moonlight completed the Darkness Abomination. They weren't strong enough to clear the dungeon but they had been slowly killing monsters and making their way through it. They would send people in to kill a few monsters and come back, rest and do a strategy meeting then go back in.

This was what Fallen Heroes was doing as well with the Flood Dragon's Den. Both guilds were pressured by how fast Moonlight was progressing and needed to catch up.

A group of people walked out of the gate of the castle. They were the main team clearing the dungeon, they would take a break for an hour then enter again.

Although Noah was no saint he didn't want to slow the progress of growth of humanity. It was simple, humanity failing meant that everyone failed, including him. So he couldn't form a monopoly over the A Class dungeons.

However now was different, Bloodhood weren't at a level to complete the Goblin Castle, this meant it was fair game if he cleared it. Rather than wasting weeks of them slowly chipping at it, he would quickly finish this.

Noah disappeared from the tree branch.

...

He walked through the encampment casually, he had Disappearance active and had Facade hide his existence completely. The members of Bloodhood ran past him yet no one noticed anything.

Reaching the Wooden Gate he opened it slightly and entered the castle.

...

The Inside was much larger than what the castle seemed like from the outside. A stone hall with wide stairs on the opposite side to the entrance leading to the floor above. From where he was he could see the part of the above floor since it had a railing to look down from. The ceiling was high and had chandeliers lit with candles. There were doors and pathways along the two side walls.

He didn't see any goblins it looked like Bloohood had cleared the area. He Flashed by quickly passing. The first floor was completely empty, he scaled the stairs and moment and entered the second floor. There was a painting of a goblin and two pathways on its side.

Noah opened the Explorer Map. He was able to get a clear visual of both paths. He couldn't see the end but he saw that one path had been cleared of monsters.

He entered the other one. He wasn't planning on fighting any monsters other than the Dungeon Lord.

The path was filled with monsters standing and guarding each doorway. Some roamed around periodically checking.

The knights wore full silver medical armour and hung swords, however, they weren't much a challenge to him now. Noah flash step passed. He still had both of his hiding skills active so the monsters weren't able to sense him.

The hallway was straight and didn't have needed turns and twists. At a point through it, he saw a door leading to another path much wider than the one he was in. He didn't open it, just Flash Stepped past the door.

The inside was completely different from the castle setting. It turned into a dark cave pathway. This path had an entrance from both paths.

"This should be the path to the Dungeon Lord."

Noah flickered reappearing in different spot. Different types of monsters came into his view but he ignored all of them. There were Goblin Mages who were using sensing spells but Noah moved past them quickly and went out of range.

Through the Explorer Map, he saw the path coming to an end and an enormous room that he couldn't see the complete of connected to it. He sped up then and reached the end quickly.

Two monsters stood guarding a large metallic door covered in gold and jewels. It was well designed and had a crown etched in its centre.

[Royal Goblin Knights] (Dungeon Guardian)

A Class

Level 90

Both were dungeon guardians, proper ones, not like the Devil Incarnate he saw in the Darkness Abomination Dungeon. He read about them in the Floating Holy Library Dungeon Guardians are supposed to be like mini-bosses before the Dungeon Lord.

The Royal Goblin Knights were much stronger than the Forest Troll he fought yesterday. Well it was to be expected as of the second strongest monsters in a dungeon.

Noah approached them drawing his gun, he fired, not bullets but curses instead. Curse of Weakness, Evil Glare, Blind. Both Guardians had their abilities reduced, they looked around but couldn't find anything. Noah then buffed himself, Death's Dance, Cold Mind, Curse of Self Harm, Wild Swordplay, Bulk Up, Strenght Boost, Speed Boost. Different colour energy of the skills momentary glowed on him as the series of buffs activated.

Shing!

He unsheathed his sword, Silent Screech. An inaudible sound was released as he scratches the sword. It was an area of effect skill so both were affected together, Both guards lost their balance.

Insanity Venom, Noah activated it as his sword glowed green. He then flickered and appeared next to the left guard. He left seven quick strikes before his sword was blocked. Noah pulled up the Helleborus at close range and rapidly shot mana bullets then Flash stepped back as the other guard came from behind.

'I've seriously injured one.' The Royal Goblin Knight had two strikes that had broken through its armour. The corruption started spreading.

Ding! Clang! Ding!

Noah clashed with the uninjured guard while still shooting with the Helleborus, his bullets bending to hit the other. The Cursed Mana Bullets did high damage and increased the effect of the curses and corruption on him.

The uninjured Royal Goblin Knight had silver mana fill its blade as it slashed towards him. Yin Yang Reinforcement. The Cursed Requiem had the blade light up with Black and White.

DIING!

The two swords clashed sending a large amount of mana into the surrounding. Noah held his ground. He then changed the movement of his sword and directed it to the left. His body disappeared as he appeared behind and slashed. His thin blade passed through the gaps in the armour leaving a wound.

The injured Royal Knight appeared behind Noah like lightning and slashed. Noah didn't dodge. The attack hit him but didn't do much damage rather a red glow appeared on him that shattered and sent the Goblin flying back.

Low Heal. Noah used the skill from one of his rings onto himself. It was the Curse of Self Harm he had cast on himself to reflect the damage back onto the Royal Goblin Knight. The attack was strong so not all the damage was able to be reflected.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Noah kept control since the beginning of the fight. He was able to soon kill both of the Guardians together.

Flick, Noah sheathed his sword getting the blood off. "It seems I can handle this much well. Let's see what the Dungeon Lord has to offer..."

Noah pushed open the golden gate.
